I’ve heard tell that the problem is the supercharger it’s self. It’s undersized to fit that low hood line, but it’s overspun to hit the hp goals. So it’s driving the intake temps through the roof (or cylinder head) and the and cooling system can’t even..

I don’t know, they they are tooting this as a “GT4" type of car it should have more than 200hp and my station wagon shouldn’t be able to beat one in straight drag race..

So a start up automotive company (that should really be focusing all his strength on just making batteries) is going to pump out 400,000 mid size cars in 18 months, and the mules aren’t production ready? And it will be on a brand new production line?

I would take that chance for around $20 kilobucks. With the low mileage and the IMS fix, you could yank the flat six, and sell it to cover all the cost of swapping in an LS block. Then you could actually beat the shit out of it and not have to worry about every other problem that m96 boat anchor of a motor had.

Could be a mule for anything, turbocharged a/c compressor? Butt controlled navigation? Given the fact that they are not trying to hide it at all, maybe they had a bunch of those wheels laying around and thought it would be lolz to throw them in for cruising around?

Fun fact:

“Now, remember friends, if you want to continue to get more wagons in America some of you are going to have to pony up the cash and actually buy them brand new.”

It’s a GT2, that mule has been running around for a while, (with the ducts on the hood covered as well)

No body cares about the Demon, yet we all came in here to read about it. Lol..

There is a prefect car to replace the old sport wagon, it’s the new sport wagon! As long as the buyers are ok with forking money over to Vw again it’s pretty much a better car in every way. The only issue that most tdi owners squawk about is the short range, which isn’t a by product of pore mileage, but of a tiny fuel

No wonder it’s jail time for slamming your car or doing sweet mods in Aus, none of them can drive.

So FCA needs to stop making cheap hot rods because one car using an entirely different propulsion system and cost twice as much can beat it in a single acceleration test? Which the car can only do few times before it dies?

“Oooh look, peasants!”

Before I even read about this over pollution machine, how many people where mudered during this test drive?

Ok so 1200 people are going to die from a bunch of sub 2.0l motors strapped to cars that maybe run for 2 hours a day (on average) taking their meat bags to and from work and the shops.. So what about all the 30 year old dump trucks that coal roll the whole interstate with there 6-12L motors running up to 12 hours day?

2008 Saab 93 sportcombi,

Jalopnik;

“Normies” are the worse.

Yeah, this is one wagon that doesn’t wagon well..

This could bring me back to the GM flock, but every time the General sells a car I want I can’t afford it. The car will come loaded up at dealers pushing over $40grand and then dealers will bitch they can’t move them.
