Yeah I can’t argue with that. Although I think the brake test does tell them if a corner is not acting right, clamped, or some f%ckery is afoot.

I guess for big states its not feasible but in Delaware our DMV has inspection lines, we just drive up and DMV employees perform a safety inspection (lights, wipers, windows, etc) then pull up and stop on the brake testers, hookup OBD for emissions and you are done. 10 minutes tops and you are good to go.

I guess when all the factors are factored this list makes sense, and go BMW as a BMW fan/driver. That said although I really do not like Musk at all but I got to drive a Tesla Model 3 (performance? plaid? it was new and had a plaid badge on it, idk its my buddies) for the first time. It was super fast and neato but I

Right, i mean most all models offer a Delaware edition.

This is true. I have a smaller 1/2" drive high torque battery impact from amazon, china special, i dont even know the name of it. its blue and has plenty of ass to remove lug nuts and stubborn bolts.

(we can tell)

Thank I try, but I’m also blessed as well. She just turned 21 a few days ago and works full time and paid for this entire trip herself other than these car issues. It’s a 2013 BMW X1 (that she also pays for) with the n20 engine. I do all the maintenance on our cars and hers was running great when she left. When it all

My kid is at the tail end of a cross country trip to like 15 national parks from Delaware to Cali and back.

Long ago I bought my first BMW, a used E91 in great shape and loved it and drove it for many years. Then my kid went to college like 2.5 hours away. The wagon was just a touch too small to haul all her stuff, and midlife crisis kicked in, so I wanted something bigger and bought a F25 X3. I also bought a Z3 or 2 haha.

The kink between the rear door and rear quarter is atrocious design. I thought it was bad photoshop in the early teaser images, ugh.

Love it but I can’t go $25k. Maybe if it was stick...still probably not.

“Brittains answer to the Hummer EV”

The (very large) company I work for would immediately be removed from all bidder list if that was our safety record, yikes.

Agree, I run Vredestein’s on my X3 35xi and love them, especially for the price.

this was originally a texaco, i was their first employee when they built it lmao. it is now a shell, same carwash too, like 25 years later.

I worked at a gas station a long time ago, someone somehow told me there was a demo code for the car wash. just punch the code in and get a free works wash. myself and quite a few friends got many free washes that summer.

You’re right, i want to buy like 10 of these. What a great design.

My running total to maintain 5 BMW’s over the last 8 years or so it at about $10k in parts, I do all the labor. Most expensive single part was all new springs and struts for my E91 at about $1250.

Hello from Delaware where I guess? Fisker started. I know they were building Karma’s at the defunct GM site here for awhile. I didn’t even know the Ocean was a thing until last week I was driving in PA and saw one. Pretty neat. That is all.

I am double her age and income and wouldn’t really think of buying a new luxury anything. I have succumb to brand loyalty and will never not own a BMW though so I get that. But mine are older, paid off, and I work on them myself as a hobby. I also don’t wreck them lol
