It only takes one solid kick to create just enough opening to turn and run, grab a chair or another object, etc. Obviously you have to assess your surroundings, your abilities and your size (vs opponent size) to determine what’s appropriate.

Use your legs to keep them at distance. Unless you’re much shorter than they are, your legs are longer than their reach. Plus if you’re wearing shoes, your feet have some protection. Oh and go for the balls of course (or the eyes, if you’re a hamster named Boo).

What you’re seeing is spectator mode. The actual players can’t see through walls.

True, and I haven’t really stopped to consider all the pros and cons of more parties. But our 2 party system just seems like not enough. It's the same shit candidates every time.

What’s the point in investing time and effort into a tool for “candidates” that never had a chance in the first place.

American idol figured it out, why can’t the US gov?

the difference is that anyone can do what you did. few can do what the player in the video did.

Imagine if the community could show that kind of restraint. Even just the restraint to wait 24 hours for a single sale of the game.

Then just tell us that. We have given them so much money and in return they just troll us. Gabe even teased interviewers in the past about HL3. All we want is a “yes” or “no.” By now the company should know which it is.

It can offer closure, which is bigger than all the other elements of a game.

I think that’s OK though. It’s like if your favorite book or movie never finished - you just want to know what happens!

I see this type of comment a lot but really don’t know what hype you’re talking about. I’m one of the big fans of the series and despite my frustration with its delay, I will certainly pre-order it (and I don’t pre-order any video games anymore, not after the mess of launches from the past 2 years). But I don’t have

I’ve also read that the fire tv only supports surround sound on amazon video which makes it an instant no for me.

If you’re not using technology to some degree as teaching tools for your children, you’re not properly preparing them for the modern world. It’s not that technology should just be “allowed” in a child’s life, it’s a critical part of their learning.

The monitors should be at eye level. Your eye level changes when you sit vs stand. Therefore a proper sit stand desk adjusts the entire desk not just the tray. That’s why this desk is not a sit stand desk and so not worth the money for me.

But when you switch between sitting and standing, only the keyboard tray moves.

But it doesn’t switch between sit/stand positions, like other desks in that price range do. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s not a fantastic desk; I’m saying I would only pay about half the cost for what it offers.

If the monitors don’t rise as well, then you’re just craning your neck at an awkward angle. The point of a sit stand desk is to get off your ass occasionally and help prevent bad posture by sitting all day. But if you then end up looking down at your monitors the entire time you’re standing, it kind of negates the
