Yeah I’m not sure what they could add to it. A marginal increase in fps isn’t worth spending new console money. Releasing upgrades to get the systems in line with 4k adoption made sense.  This honestly doesnt.

Seriously BG3 is great yadda yadda but it is really irritating how characters are either horny for you or otherwise just exist and cannot be friends with you.

It was the opposite, the PS5 Slim got a price increase. The digital PS5 is $399 and the digital slim is $449. Then if you decided to get the disc drive down the road for $79 the PS5 Slim costs $519 but if you get the bundle you save $20. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a console increase in price midway through its life…

Man, my PS5 still feels like a newish addition to my console collection. I have no desire for an upgrade. It doesn't even feel like games are pushing it to its limits yet.

Yeah. The best-case scenario here (IMO) is that Microsoft continues to make Xbox consoles - and I’m talking actual consoles, not just streaming-only devices. Competition is good for consumers.

Yeaaaah, I feel like Xbox’s Backwards Compatibility policy is the only reason Sony bothered with it. Which is very frustrating to think about.
