They're traitorsin the public's eyes.

Definitely was rooting for the Senators, then Saul Barrenson. Fuck you, Carrie, bitch couldn't keep it in her pants…

I like the direction, very true to Washington backbiting, with Carrie and Saul protecting different interests for themselves and the CIA. It's definitely a season-long dynamic to follow closely.

Elements of classic episodes seep into a worthy story for a premier. New writers?

I thought it was excellent, loved the cold open, monologue was great, Girls commercial killed, airline bording was clever, Weekend Update was great, Model T commercial was perfect filler, and I always love the former pornstars skit. 10/10

Well I couldn't understand her.

I feel it will be easiest to do this.

How does it compare to "Raising the Bar"

The payoff, that the whistle-blower discovers no one actually cares, was either a clever dig or an easy shot, but it definitely worked better than the Santa reveal.

I think I'm more insecure about the show. It might not last, and I'm probably just telling myself there's reasons it will. Also, I was drinking.

I think Seth Rogen knows "too much" is still on the speedometer. And so while this episode was a little much, I still enjoyed it thoroughly, for just a half hour. Any more really would be too much, but three ad-libbed Rogen-Mantzoukas moments are tolerable. I wonder if Mantzoukas will be in some upcoming Rogen films.

Gina's the only remotely interesting character on the show for two episodes. She might also be the only one genuinely allowed to let loose and enjoy her part on the show.

Yeah, funniest new show yet. Pretty lovable characters all around. Whitford's got to be gold and Akerman sure showed promise. Follow, for now.

Compared to The Blacklist, it is.

Not surprised at all - this show stinks. For one, hasn't the serial drama train left the station?  FBI agents hunting down a bad guy for episode, after episode, after episode, has not only been done; it's been done in a far more realistic and interesting way (Criminal Minds). NBC isn't going to the top with this crap.

One thing to know about Jerry Bruckheimer - he doesn't give a shit. People will watch. He knows what people will watch. He knows how to create and exploit hype. And his fingerprints are all over this attempt to bring a Homeland spin-off to network TV. Critics will fall one way or another, and CBS and Bruckheimer will

A few laughs in the beginning petered out as the weighty stuff, and the obvious "over-stuffing" of a pilot entered into the fray. I always watch the next episode to see how it differs from the intentional attention-grabbing/hackney explanation pilot format. I'll do so for this show.

The second Deborah Morgan turned around as Lumen and Dexter looked on in their normal, constipated fashion, there was no chance of redemption. I stand by it. Good grade, and great review. Should have pulled the plug in season 5, for sure.

TOBIAS!!!

I greatly dislike Jay Cutler, and I'm hating that The League puts its guest stars on pedestals. A little self-deprecation couldn't hurt, right? Lately it often seems to thrive on guest appearances and needs to change it up. Ruxin shitting on J.J. Watt in the premier was a good start - take it to the next level.
