I remember a rumor that this was happening awhile ago with Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Did I imagine that?

By super hero film standards, Wonder Woman should already have shut down that conversation. It won’t. It never will. Captain Marvel could be the greatest production ever reduced to film and it wouldn’t change those assholes’ minds.

I’m really hoping for a Goose/Ned/Luis teamup.

Ugh, with the way the pissy fanboys have been about this movie, I was really hoping it would be good just to shut them up.

It’s like something from Ru Paul’s Gone with the Wind.

I never thought of it like that, but you’re right, and that’s actually kind of genius. Stan Lee is selling a dream, but by god he’s selling it.

They usually end the In Memoriam with a clip of one of the bigger names on the list saying something poignant from an iconic role. Like a few years ago, when Leonard Nimoy died, they had a clip of Spock saying “I am now and always will be your friend.” I was really expecting them to end this year’s montage with Stan

MCU Fanboy here but even I have to concede that Wonder Woman is better than The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 (and I don’t out-and-out dislike either of those). It’s probably also better than Thor: The Dark World but it’s been a while since I rewatched that one.

...John Boyega (Finn) sandwiched between Daisy Ridley (Rey) and Oscar Isaac (Poe)

Rosario was never not great in these shows. Claire always seemed like the sanest person in the room.

All of these shows would improve vastly if the seasons were cut down to 8, or at least 10 episodes.

Or, at the very least, 8 episodes about Killgrave and 5 episodes that were standalone stories of Jessica being a detective.  Like the mix you used to see on the X-Files.

Even the Joker hates Nazis.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold’s Aquaman was the best superhero I’ve ever seen DC come up with. I loved when he could control silverfish “Because their name has fish in it!!”

I never fail to justify in lengthy editorials

I am the very model of a trident pedant commenter

Jason and Tahani get a divorce, Jason goes with Janet, then Tahani joins Chidi and Eleanor in a poly triad. Michael is their dad. They all get a house together in the country.

I have a feeling something has happened to the people who run the Good Place. That office looked awfully empty, with bags of unopened mail.

Whatever the answer, it’s a good thing that Operation:Save Mr. Rogers is underway.

I’d hope that Clubber Lang’s out there in Chicago training some underprivileged youths or something. It kind of felt like that was his ultimate trajectory. I’d be interested to see T try to play a zen, older Lang, if I’m being honest.
