I would like a spin-off where Matt and Jessica banter and solve crime.

Anyone else think it was significant that when Jessica and Oscar have paint sex, Jessica’s lying in a pool of purple? This would be perhaps the first healthy sexual encounter she’s had since she took out Kilgrave, signifying that she’s moving past the trauma he caused, and so the colour purple is no longer inherently

Is there anything, really, that WOULDN’T benefit from more Rosario Dawson?

Kars for Kids has been a nightmare for anyone who grew up in the New York metro area. The fact that it’s now national is a sign of the deterioration of society.

If you live in the tri-state area and listen to the radio:

I’m still furious the Nobel committee ran out of eligible male writers to give it to and lobbed one at Bob Dylan instead.

Well, and also, fuck the Patriots.

They can win! All they need is an offense, a defense, and some rule changes.

Yea Bortles doesn’t stand a chance against the Pats, but the Jacksonville D could reasonably rattle Brady, especially considering he’s not a young man anymore. I feel like a Blake Bortles-Case Keenum Super Bowl is a Bad Place matchup, but I’d 100% prefer it to seeing Brady and Belichick get another ring.

Thread for kabob restaurant names in The Fake Good Place:

After all the help she gave them she finally got her reward - a sex robot and cocaine. All that woman needs in The Medium Place.

I just don’t get how he didn’t kill Vader who was shown over the course of several movies (killing younglings in Order 66, ahem), but he almost kills Ben in his sleep because Snoke got into his head.

I really don’t mind all the changes on the new direction the film is taking, I just thought the handoff between JJ and

Aren’t “Jessica” and “Ashley” the two people who were actually competitive a cappella singers in their colleges? I feel like they are literally there to actually round out harmonies ... and the whole meta-joke of all of these types of movies that require a “team” of more than 6 people that clearly has a couple of

Minimal CGI (a few shots of spaceships flying around isn’t budget-busting, and simple effects like that don’t cost much to look good these days), a few real sets, etc. We’ve been talking about an Obi-wan standalone noir film for years, which could take place entirely on Tatooine without much in the way of CGI. Hell,

This is definitely one of my top favorite 99 episodes. They managed to pack so much great stuff into this episode that I had to pause multiple times thinking this was a double episode or something.

I realize the publishing world isn’t what it used to be, but if this series somehow ended up as a large book with some multi-page photo layouts and maybe some filling-out of the also-rans, I would pre-order my copy as soon as I was able and probably pre-order a few copies for friends so I could make their year.

‘Wonderful Christmastime’ is the worst. An inane chorus and a childish keyboard tune repeated ad infinitum. It’s almost 4 minutes long but it feels like 4 million years.

For this show, casting / acting > writing, for sure.

McCartney’s Wonderful Christmastime is almost as bad as the 1-800 cars for kids commercial. It may only be second worst because you don’t hear it year round, but you definitely hear it more than the commercial in December.

Frank and Karen having so much chemistry just make me think of how terrible Matt and Karen are.
