Colonialist borders placed upon semi-nomadic peoples. What could possibly go wrong?

Wow, I had no ideal the two nations harbored that type of tension.

Yeah, I absolutely don’t. No kids, I don’t lug more than groceries. Hell, I don’t even go to the office anymore. Even on the rare occasion I take a road trip to see friends, my sedan is fine because it is just me and my stuff. The worst part about owning it is everyone ELSE owns a minivan or SUV so I can’t see shit in

They actually do, though. Cars are expensive, and, speaking from the perspective of the broader public, if you can have one car that does everything moderately well and save yourself a few hundred dollars a month, that’s what you’re going to do.

Blacked-out cars: They were never popular to begin with, but they have an audience. They always did and always will. Perhaps tho, the sun will set on “Midnight Edition” cars for something else.

Hard disagree on many things.

far more than one have been made thus far.

Hybrids are a messy and expensive middle tech. There is a known endpoint, so why would they waste time and money developing something that they know has a limited production lifespan. Hybrids were long thought to be the middle step until the OEMs found that it is cheaper and more efficient to just skip over it.

Agreed. EV sales are growing exponentially YOY. We are several generations deep on battery and motor tech. How can anyone state that we are still in an “early adopter” phase?

Global EV sales continue to grow exponentially year over year. The EU and China have regulations in place to disallow ICE sales after 2030/2035. They also have incentives to promote the transition.

In my view, the ‘early adopter’ stage ended about 5 years ago.

I am only looking at the picture at the beginning of the article but that doesn’t seem that bad.   People gotta worry about their own shit and not their neighbors

Important to note there are a lot of people who don’t realize how downhill it’s gone. My friends have made Nissans their first car purchases recently because they were treated well by Altimas/Maximas from the 90's and early aughts when we were younger. Granted, they’re not remotely car people, but not-car-people make

Yes, and no. Nissan may be seriously neglecting its performance offerings, but

Fascinating. Remarkable. Where did you get your PhD in environmental science and mechanical engineering? I would love to understand how all of the wrong things you’ve just said are correct actually.

You’d get even better mileage if you didn’t drive a GD truck all over the damn place every day for no reason.

So rather than put the “soot and contaminates into their engine” they put it in the air we breath. Yeah that’s great.

Well, let’s consult the DOJ’s press release:

Oh god no. No no no!

Good fuck them, also fuck any company that uses a Pit Bull as part of their logo. I don’t have an issue with them as a breed as many do, but it seems like just about any company that uses them as part of their logo or marketing end up being shit bags.
