It’s not exactly a prop gun if live ammunition makes it a non-prop gun right?

No one but that’s not the point being made here. If you’re going to sell something with additives, just be honest about the additives?
I want to hear what Jordan Peterson has to say about this...
this, like the Subway “tuna” lawsuit and others of this ilk are trying to subvert the dominant paradigm where what you see is NOT what you get, and I’m 100% behind these efforts.
Oh, don’t you worry! Anyone who even mildly defends the special will be flagged and dismissed. Your concerns, having scrolled through the comments, are entirely unwarranted. 99% of the people in the comments are woke cancel culture warriors. All just repeating the same shit that comedy specials lead to violence.…
Like I can see that...
I just gotta comment on the part about CP being a “massively long game”... It really isn’t at all. The actual campaign is surprisingly short and even the overall game world and side stuff is pretty small, especially for an big AAA RPG. I would say if you are 20 hours in already, you’ve probably done more of the main…
The Andretti name, back in F1. Massive. I wouldn’t be surprised if Liberty Media leans in on the matter to make it happen.
This needs to happen. Drive to Survive is huge right now in the US. Popularity of F1 is spiking. Sleeping on this momentum for a few more seasons is a missed opportunity.
I maintain that Grosjean doing well in Indycar is not an indictment of the quality of Indycar talent, it is an indictment of the structure of F1. He hasn’t been able to succeed consistently since 2013 because his employers didn’t have the resources, not because he wasn’t a good driver. Remember by the 2nd half of 2013…
But the fact remains that Indy drivers aspire to drive in F1, not the other way around. And like I said, that is mostly the opinion of the people watching F1 outside of the US. I’m not trying to shit on Indy.
Agreed. It’s a fun series and I (very) casually follow it. I say the more racing we can get, and the more variety that racing entails, the better.
Based on comments from international car enthusiasts, I’d say you nailed it. They view it as a lesser series and I don’t see it gaining wide popularity outside of NA, but that doesn’t mean they cant race in Mexico and Canada.
The rest of the world has F1. It is a vastly superior racing series (in their eyes, don’t shoot the messenger), and houses the talent pool that Indy can only dream of. When racers can’t cut it in F1, they go to indy. Thus, it is viewed as a second rate series.
Religious ‘objections’ are bullshit, just like religion itself.
Are you going to make the distinction between Bro Country music festivals (which presumably would have more unvaxxed attendees) and indierock music festivals, too? It’s a large public gathering. Unless you have different requirements for Kid Rock shows vs. St. Vincent shows, then you treat them with universal…
Americans are going to have to learn to pay more for restaurant meals to support living wages and benefits. There is no other way to fix the food-service industry.
The budget cap is one reason. The other is that the mechanics are also pit crew. They train together in the gym and in practice, literally thousands of practice pitstops across a season. With tenths of a second at stake, none of them would even think of using a b-team.
Less pit crew would increase the workload. The pit crew is not just the pit crew, they build and repair the car, set the garage and hospitality facilities, you name it.
In all fairness, the three-ring world-traveling circus that is F1 today is a significant contributor to the problem.
