We’ve all heard people on the extreme right wing refer to the “coastal elite” like everyone on the coasts are weaklings ready to be rolled over, but anyone who has spent time in those cities knows it takes a special kind of grit to make it in those towns.

Long Beach needs to improve the marine life in the area and they need to rebuild the fish population. Here’s an unpopular opinion:

Sink both of them off shore so they can be artificial reefs. If done correctly its great for the environment and creates a new dive spot off Long Beach that would attract people as well.
