I see nothing wrong here. Lucky Guy

My dad collects mid-80s Cadillac Brougham and Buick Electra. Has about 30 of them, different colors, 2-door and 4-door versions, some stretched too. And he drives them as daily cars. I always thought this is very weird.

Did he ever meet Ludacris and his rebuilt Legend?

Not a typo. I drove his ILX in August of this year. It had 173k at that time.

Sweet!

That legend looks legendary for having half a million miles on it.

Is it bad that I’m most interested in the Legend and the Vigor?

Car fetish is a little strong of a headline. I was expecting a guy who fornicated with his car!

Are those Espadas in the background? The NSX is awesome and rare enough, but Espadas...

Tyson is one of the nicest, most genuine guys you’ll ever meet.

A customer brought in an 88 Acura Legend today. It had 198,900 miles on it. 5 speed. Beat to shit. But God damn if that seat wasn’t one of the most comfortable seats I’ve ever been seated in. And the shifter felt great. Actually, for how abused this car was, the car drove and pulled remarkably well. I was colored

Drove a 1997 Acura 2.2 CL from late 2006 to early 2012 (about 90-170k miles). It was a 5 speed manual, grayish-tan exterior that was almost a weird rose/iridescent. I had that car through the tail end of highscool, all of college, and the early post grad life.

Oh my God. I used to work with this guy! He’s an impossibly cool dude and I’m so glad he’s getting props for his car obsession!

Fancy junkyard.

When Iw as selling Lexus, we had a customer that was about 70-80k miles per year. They are both college professors with tenure, but theyw anted to live in a small town, so it’s a 290 mile commute every day that they teach

It’s about 124 miles a day. I know people who 150 miles a day for work round trip. Do that 5 days a week, plus extracurricular drive would easily add up to 45,000 miles a year.

This is my 88 5 speed coupe. Daiy driven. 236k miles. 4th owner. Have original window sticker, and every reciept since. I love the “ Ack!”

Ah, had a ‘91 Legend Coupe 5 speed. Beast.

No DC2.... T_T

This is actually really cool and quite inspiring. Makes me want to be more specific with my car goals.
