Go for the Accord.

This is why I love the Jalopnik community.

... God damnit. Don’t you tempt me.

What’s sad is, I could see that actually happening.

“Whelp, there’s no engine in here. Obviously just scrap now. Let’s drop a K-barrier on it!”

Don’t forget to put a massive pile of week old garbage in the corner of the room.

I’ll bend the rules slightly —

Semi-related to the lead idea: not understanding differences between divides, and assuming if you like one thing you must like another.

Middle seat? For your legless child?

Unfortunately, I work at O’Reilly’s. So I’m sort of “stuck” using them (the discount is worth it).

You should wire in a new thermostat. Keep the old one in place, just disconnect it.

For sure! I’m weird, I have fun on slow, underpowered bikes. When you can go full throttle, and not catch any cops attention, it’s a good time.

Ever try to hoon a ruckus? :D

Yeah the biggest hit for me is purchase price and fuel economy. I live in Phoenix, where you have to drive hundreds of miles to go anywhere (everything is so spread out — my commute isn’t considered exceptionally long, and is about 40 miles round trip).

The 300 starts at $3,999, while the 500 starts at $5,799. That’s

Good to know. Hell, I’d buy it just to look at it!

Most likely getting the 300F though. Cheap, reliable, great economy, and rides smooth. I’ll probably get something more unreasonable a few years from now.

I really, really like the 500F... But can’t really justify spending more to get worse MPG and higher insurance. The 300 does everything I need it to!

Well, I had a 300F for my MSF course. It’s probably the best bike to learn on. Super easy to ride. Power is just right for a novice, and ergonomics are just about perfect (I’m fairly average size, 5’7”, 160lbs). Exhaust note sounds fairly decent from the factory, it gets great MPG, and is cheap to buy and insure.

Yeah, exactly why I just can’t justify getting one... It’s definitely my “dream” bike though!

When I had the Ninja 250, I was paying $7 / month. Granted, I also had multi vehicle discount, military discount, good student discount, and good driver discount. Plus, only carried basic liability. And, at the time, I was 19 years old (white male here) living in Mississippi, so I wasn’t getting the 25+ discount.

Out

Maybe in a few years I’ll step up to an FZ-09! That bike is just pure sex.

Really considering the 500F as well. Buddy of mine has one. But the 300 is cheaper still, better MPG, and does everything I need it to do!

See, that’s where I’m torn. I love the 500. Buddy of mine has a 500F. But, for my use, the 300 does everything I need it to do, and gets better MPG. It’s also like $2500 cheaper, and gets cheaper insurance.

That R3 though? I’ve DEFINITELY considered it. I just wish Yamaha would release and FZ-03. Now I’d buy THAT in a
