6.1 0-60 is plenty.

I can make things difficult for fellow hole-shotters with my 1.4 liter 5MT Jetta. It does 0-60 in 7.5, which is the same as my ‘88 GTI 16v did. Most people will not floor their accelerator.
Gotta pay for those Ferrari sponsorships somehow.
That’s f’ing brutal. I’ve cycled up 23% and it is not for the faint of heart (literally).
WRX will hold its value better but they get horrible gas mileage, if that matters to you.
I used to drive a modded, lowered, loud, bright red GTI in my 20's and got pulled over once and released because I whipped around a corner but he couldn’t find a reason to ticket me. If you get stopped that much you’re doing something very wrong.
Agreed, there was no compromise - the stance is perfect as is!
I’m just hoping he doesn’t take anyone else with him.
Came here for this.
Disappointed that this article did not follow the Gawker convention of referring to this douchebag as “Ya boy Ethan”.
Our state capital is Frankfort, with an “o”. 20 counties sounds like a lot unless you know we have 120 counties. Glad this is happening though, my mother is a retired KY teacher. Support teachers!
Is he an automotive line worker?
Corporate radio sucks. Good to see you like it, though.
One day you’ll be embarrassed that you liked them. You should listen to better bands.
You’re implying either of both of those bands make “music”.
I got a base Jetta at the end of the model year last year FOR $12K.
Made the same comment from the customer perspective up above.
You can’t buy them if they’re not on the lots. Last fall I needed a new car and went to my VW dealer ($1000 loyalty check). I wanted a GTI or GLI but ended up buying the cheapest car on the lot (Jetta S 5MT). Not the car I wanted, but since I commute 150 miles a day, it was the car I needed. You know what? It’s great!…
“Impossible standard of “clean” competition”. How is that impossible?
I’ll make this quick for everyone - every athlete at the top of their sport is doping.
