Oh look. Another way to artificially create content for an empty game.
They’re all still minuscule compared to someone like San Juan Wolf...
I’ve never played TF2, how hard would it be for me to start now? I’ve been playing Dota 2 for a few years and I don’t think the community as a whole is as bad as people make it out to be (of course, there are some exceptions). How does the TF2 community deal with newcomers?
Hmm I suddenly feel deja vu from my eight year old trauma...
You can play Demon Souls or Blood Borne. That’s basically the way I see it. The happy middle ground is probably LoL in this analogy. Blizzard is carving out their place in these genres and it’s fantastic that they aren’t taking the “me-too” route of doing things. As much as I love challenging games, the bite sized…
I think you got it wrong.
IDK about the League changes but the 6.84 changes in Dota were mainly because by the end of the cycle 6.83 was one of the most disliked patches dota has ever had. I usually reply with “Sorry, my daily quest isn’t to be a coward and hand over wins.”
the problem is LoL players are bringing their bad habbits into the game.
didnt they just add a new champ and arent they still balancing him?
I don’t want to be snide or anything, but the team behind Dota 2 is actually smaller than Riot. If we look at both companies numbers (not a good source, but check wikipedia’s page for Valve and Riot) Valve is believed to have as a whole in 2013 an aproximate of 300 employees, while Riot, same 2013, has aproximately…
You should update the article, as Source 2 Beta for Dota 2 came up since this article went up.
Fun fact! Ergotamine, a chemical derivative of the ergot fungus on rye, is the major precursor for LSD.
“It’s a peculiar problem, considering that you’d think Valve would be prepared for Steam Sale apocalyimplosion traffic by now. “
