Its more like TF2’s 5 point tug of war, but King of the Hill.
There already are a few custom maps that play like Diablo, a few are ported to Dota 2 from Warcraft 3.
Also people who don’t like the money aspect in Dota, you start with 2000 gold and automatically earn gold at a much faster rate, and there is no killing waves of neutral monsters for gold. Its a straight up fight from the moment you start.
You can just not play those heroes... But whatever.
I’ve definitely taken advantage of bundles, like this: https://www.humblebundle.com/
I have over 500 “games” but only 493 of them count as actual games as far as the achievement goes.
Im getting close to the 500 mark myself.
Goddamnit Nintendo.
I don’t have any interest in this because I have Rocksmith, which lets me play a real guitar...
One thing that might not be as evident from the nerf was that there was a particularly decent amount of Techies script-users out there. It calculates exactly how much life someone had exactly how many remote mines were needed to kill them, then the script would automatically explode exactly that many mines. There are…
Dota 2 doesn’t have quite over 120 heroes yet, almost 110.
Actually a single pro picking one hero CAN swing the meta pretty heavily, but it rarely sticks for long. Some pro discovers a niche pick that is played a different way or with a different skill build and it destroys in a pro match and tons of people will instantly spam games trying to duplicate it. This spurs others…
Give the game a check out. It succeeds at being Lovecraftean in amazing ways. It’s hard to even describe how well they have created infinite madness out of thin air, or I guess thick structure gel. The monsters become a little more interesting once you’ve beaten the game and you try to figure out where, or who, they…
yep ;)
Valve has been exceptionally slow and... slow as of late.
Nice! I haven’t played any MOBAs for more than 1-2 games in the past few weeks because great games like SOMA and Undertale(and now Else, Heartbreak and The Beginner’s Guide are scratching at the door).
Does this mean you are prying yourself away from the game for almost a week?
I would say that people stopped playing a lot for all the reasons you list. I haven’t been playing much because of that sweet, sweet SOMA. A fair amount of bugs are still present, lots of people are getting to school(see: college) and after TI people are ready for a break before Majors starts.
I think Tony Hawk has learned that the best way to make a skating game is to put in as many glitches as possible. Look at Skate 2.
