The exact opposite can be a big complain against League and HotS. The RTS controls are necessary in many cases because you need to control multiple units at once. Many heroes create illusions and many others can summon controllable units.

There are some little tricks you can do in Dota like this too, like in Dota the shop range is decently larger than the heal range, so if you sneak into the enemy base you can use their shop without going into the deathzone fountain area.

Spending money in Dota is way better, you can use the Steam Market to get some quick cosmetics for 4-30 cents. Plus you get them for free from playing. For around $1 you can outfit one hero with a bunch of different swords and helmets.

That is kind if greedy marketing taking advantage of fans... Bundles are supposed to be a better value not a worse one.
