Shadow of Mordor’s was great too!! Less vistas but more dismemberment and contorted facial expressions.

I just bought a ps4 to play this (and last of us and BB and Nioh and Red Dead 2 I suppose).
Some of that post is poorly presented and/or understood (as mirrored by the lively discussion below). Posting links “educate yourself” without actually grasping the issue yourself is a poor internet habit that needs to educate itself. That said, the system seems to have its merits, only time will tell if has any…
I’m gonna go ahead and namedrop “Fez” but more importantly the fantastic “Monument Valley” as other games that successfully pulled this off :)
I remember how ridicolously disappointed I was when I discovered that they had done away with holstered weapons. So much immersion just snuffed out. It’s on almost every damn picture with the protagonist, sure was in the trailer, but they somehow felt it shouldn’t be in the game. Shame.
Pretty awesome, thanks for pointing him out :D
Hah, I was wondering where this info was in the article. Good work posting it, it really is very interesting, especially considering the impact DMC had - it may be my favority ps2 game, and made me master the art of controller warfare in 2002 as a former pc only kid.

Oh boy.
Bought this game right after I read this. Did not regret it. Fantastic stuff! Thanks for bringing it up Luke!
Ha, that is brilliant!
That escalated quite swiftly
Yes! Instant Guybrush vibe.
Ohh fantastic news. Dust off the Timberwolf!
We in science do this a lot for internal presentations. Once the conferences draw near, though, I busy myself with either properly crediting all imagery from the web or finding replacements..
YES please! I think we can partially thank Doom for that. Maybe. Dunno, not important; what IS important is that Germany MUST NOT censor this one away from me please... why can’t a 31yo pick his own entertainment, it’s beyond me.
Excellent advice!
