Not really true. While the PS3 has a hell of a CPU, it only has 512MB of RAM. Polygon count won't mean anything if the system can't handle the more numerous higher resolution textures.

It sounds like you were using a setup that didn't involve any sort of cable box. Most cable boxes have composite(SD Analogue), component (HD Analogue), and HDMI (HD Digital) video outputs on them. All you have to do is put the slingbox between your Cable Box and TV and it just captures whatever the cable box is…
That's been the case so far with all my paid jailbreak apps. Everything in cydia is done through my gmail account and is linked to my amazon account to pay for apps. Whenever i log into cydia on a clean wipe it remembers what I bought.
When it streams, from an NAS for instance, does it support divx/xvid or mkv or is it only iOS compatible formats natively or does it transcode them?
And they also design the server app for multiple NASs, like QNAP, so you don't need to use a PC to run it.
True but a single handset manufacturer hasn't out sold Apple just yet.
Makes sense. People who use gamefly are going to use their rentals on shorter single player experience like Arkham City, and will end up buying games like Skyrim and MW3(multiplayer) because of the potential days of gameplay.
Bettersnaptool is the most affordable utility for this kind of functionality
Sorry it's not a niche market anymore. The Macbook Air sells more than the Macbook Pro and it pretty much discontinued the plastic Macbook Line. Everyone is trying to come out with one now because they don't the ULV CPUs are powerful enough for most consumers now. Core i5 stock in an Air? That's not bad.
Most of my 720p movies are 2-3GB and they look great. I try to stay away from 4GB files because of their unfriendliness with flash drives(FAT is limited to 4GB file size) and to be perfetly honest 2-3GB two pass encodes look pretty damn good to me.
A lot of the time it's just the wire coiled once through a track inside the casing
Well iPhone and iPod touch already supports stereo bluetooth so there isn't anything holding anyone back from making a direct wireless speaker for not just Apple devices but for most modern devices. Sure it doesn't support video but any device of that nature that you would want to broadcast to (Apple TV, HTPC etc) is…
Hazel is one of my favorite apps on my mac. Everything is always in order and it's all automatic.
Is there a third-party app that will allow me to have this functionality on a Mac?
What I liked about Reach is the ranking system was actually arduous and only in the past few months have I seen people on live with the max rank, a year after the games release. Prestige is just a false benchmark.
Windows 7 ran better than Vista ever did, stop kidding yourself.
My only fear is that the insides will be completely replaceable only by Apple. The Macbook Air is fantastic but they fit it with a SSD that is pretty much soldered on to the comp to achieve thinness. IDK how much thinner they can make a MBP with a standard 2.5inch HDD, without making those crippling changes you'd hope…
The thunderbolt display is also 2560X1440 which puts it in the same price range as other HD+ 27 inch screens. At least the apple one looks dope and has thunderbolt.
I wish they built this into their bluetooth adapter for the PS3. People with PS3s at the center of their home theaters will be annoyed that they'll need two little black devices each with it's own powercord just to be able to use the harmony app with a PS3.
I'll give AT&T the nod in top speed, but I want broad and consistent coverage. I'll sacrifice the slight speed bump for a seamless data connection that doesn't drop out all the time when on the train or in the car.
