Arcade games have to be stored on a HDD retail games require a disc(usually). Many out there still have 20GB HDD yet alone 120GB or 160GB. They don't want people's HDD filling up after only buying 10 arcade games.
The first season was incredibly true to Game of Thrones. Besides a few out of place scenes that you see for the POV of littlefinger, picelle, and the king and queen (characters that didn't have POV chapters in GoT) every part that was included was faithfully to the books.
Watching him in the tudors you knew he was meant for bigger things.
It's for streaming not for local files. I assumed if I logged into my friends Apple TV with my Apple ID it let me stream all the shows I've bought and downloaded for local playblack, even though the file isn't located anywhere on his network.
Every McDonalds has wi-fi. The furthest you can be away from one in the US is 117 miles. Everyone can get their games if they want.
Automator isn't for the light of heart. It's not exactly straight-forward.
Depends on the software that the manufacturer uses though. The maps and address catalogues of many of the in-dash GPSs are sub-part to Tomtom and Garmin alternatives. VWs for example have terrible GPS that has a weak address book, and usually has an inefficient way of getting you where you need to go. Considering…
Sony has never been a leader in car audio. Thankfully, American car manufacturers usually use standard size speakers for most of their models so they're really easy and inexpensive to change. Alpine speakers are the way to go IMO if you ever wanted to swap them out.
This is what's pissing me off about the Mac App store. All these little apps that used to be free all cost $1-5 now because they're easily discoverable instead of hidden on the 3rd page of search results or recommended on some tech blog.
The lack of PPC support renders nearly every game made for Mac before intel architecture was supported won't work anymore.
Is there an app for mac that will delay my mouse before moving from one monitor to the other with dual monitors? I know there's a windows app for this.
I think their's a market waiting for a higher capacity iPod touch. The iPod Classic is only good for one thing, harddrive capacity. Release a 128GB iPod touch and you'd see people replacing their old iPods.
Stuffit expander pro is also great for creating archives and used to be the go to de-archiver until the unarchiver became so popular.
Launchpad seems counterintuitive to me. Your Applications Folder in a stack in your Dock in grid view is pretty much the same thing as launchpad.
Try redsnow for Mac and PC, you don't need to reinstall the firmware just point it to the right IPSW and it jailbreaks and installs cydia without wiping the device. I used this for my iPhone 3G which was also stuck at 4.2.1 and it worked no problems, you can even enable multitasking.
There is something very appealing about the UI. WP7 isn't for me, but for my parents...it's perfect. Big obvious tiles/icons. Nothing they dont' need on the home screen and they can SEE it.
Copyright law only prevents people from sharing copyrighted material, not acquiring it. So as long as you are not uploading your own collection to groove shark, it's completely legal. Grooveshark as a service may not be legal but using it most definitely is.
I have a 4 year old Lacie Porsche drive. Let's just say I was not to pleased when I opened it up and found it had a PATA, not SATA interface. Who uses PATA HDD seriously.
