What I don't understand is why audiophiles always seem to be rich.

This is great news, my contract is up in March from At&t and not only can I get rid of them, I don't have to buy a bs capped data plan.
Glad they gave the SMB water level a nod.
@jadefirefly: I wish doctors had that system. I'm always on time for the doctor and I always have to wait at least 30 min.
I have two consistently tardy friends. One just gets distracted and always needs to do a million things before he leaves the house. If we need to go somewhere, we usually tell him to show up 30-45 minutes earlier than he needs to be, so when he's 'late' he's actually right on time. We still give him shit about being…
@blackholeinacan: Every phone has an alarm clock/calender. If you need to be somewhere set the alarm to make sure you leave on time. Not that hard.
@erikwoods: Madcatz is cheap plastic that never feels right. That controller is a quality build right there, you can just tell.
@Whitson Gordon: I downloaded it for my iPhone even though I still have a 3G which can't even run the app, in anticipation of it being pulled and to make sure my future phone would be able to play most codecs. At least we still have CineXplayer.
@Priper: Same here with optical drive. I was always interested in SSDs but the price/capactiy ratio was just to high. Lifehacker then released this article [lifehacker.com] on swapping out the optical drive for a second harddrive. My eyes lit up, I could run the OS off a cheaper 64GB SSD and keep all my docs, pics,…
Has Nintendo forgot their history? The reason the Gameboy/DS were so successful and survived the tech specs onslaught of more powerful devices was because of battery life. We're not all playing Gamegears and Neo-Geo pockets are we. Good luck getting an 8 year old to remember to charge this thing as often as it needs…
@Char Aznable: The RAM limitation puts a limit on texture resolutions which is the PS3s biggest visual weakness. The CPU can keep up with the i7s of today, but without memory you can't load alot of info at the same time.
@r0gerdoody: One of the reasons I always like firewire was because I never fumbled fitting the cord into the port, the asymmetrical build of it made it much less frustrating.
@Rohit: Yes because every PS3 owner out there will learn how to exploit the hack, will have full 25-50GB bluray backups of games they found somewhere on the internet and it will go down the same path as the original Xbox which had a moddchip community that forced developers to abandon the Xbox which is why the Xbox…
@peteer02: hates geofencing: XBMC/Plex would make the PS3 the ultimate box. In the codec department the PS3 is pretty good, it just needs mkv support and it needs to be more compatible with audiotracks. Sometimes a movie won't play because of the video codec it's because of the audio codec it's paired with.
@mrtn: Yes because SSD's have no moving parts meaning there perfect for mobile devices because they can't be damaged as easily. HDDs are better for desktops because they almost never move. But the performance gains of SSDs can't be ignored which is why you'll see newer desktops equipped with an SSD to run the OS and…
@Priper: I have the same model, the 2.33ghz c2d bought in march of 07. The thing shipped with 2GB of RAM, a 160GB 5400 HDD and Mac OS X Tiger. Now it's running 4GB of RAM, I swapped out the HDD for a 64GB SSD and replaced my optical drive with a 320GB 7200rpm HDD and it's running Snow Leopard. So even though though…
@Scott Messinger: Computers are more like cars than appliances. While everything works great when you first drive it off the lot, but down the roads it's going to need maintenance and tune-ups just like computers.
@Ashurahori: Text based adventures seem perfect for gaming in a work environment.
@thedoommarine: Unless PC gaming is really important to you. There's little that separates Mac and Windows anymore, they both have the same practical functionality.
See this is worst part about the Mac App store. A simple App like that should be free, not cost a dollar but they think they can get away with charging a dollar because there in the app store atmosphere. I know it's a buck but all those little purchases add up.
