The average console/pc gamer is 32 years old...nice research NBC
@zelfmoordkonijn: Or switch it to uncharted 2 style. Instead of vetos, just give players a choice of the 2 maps/gametypes and let them decide instead of them vetoing a map they don't like to get an even worse one. That would also stop a lot of people from quitting.
I just want some variety in the playlists. They have team snipers but I would like to see team shotguns, team swords, etc as regular playlists. I know you can do custom games but I'm the sole gamer in my group of friends so that doesn't work for me. If there was more choice in matchmaking that would be better.
One of the aspects I loathe of todays MSM is the lame excuses for interviews. Most journalists never fact-check or challenge the person their interviewing, nor do they ask followup questions. They just stick to a script of general questions that lack substance and don't inform.
@pattonmat: McAfee is a joke, MSE or AVG free are the way to go, I'd go with MSE just because after 2000 and XP microsoft knows a thing or 2 about security and have done a great job building MSE, plus it plays nice with windows.
@kazooie: NBA Hangtime on the N64 is where it was at, no load times, all goofy arcade madness
I always thought an FTP server got the trick done. I just created accounts for my friends and they could log in a grab media files from my NAS right from their homes.
@d_r_e: Well Halo 2 is 5 years old, the xbox is just over 8 years old. Seems like yesterday but actually a ways away.
@PontiusPirate: The only thing limiting online distribution is HDD size. The largest HDDs available for PS3 are 500GB. Assuming the future of games are closer to MGS4 with 50GB sizes and not <10GB on a DVD, your only allowing for 10 downloadable titles per console, and 250GB is currently the largest capacity a PS3…
no extensions for mac it seems, if vlc could give me slick presentation UI for my library through extensions it would be a great replacement media center
@tylerf: I agree, Apple go the part right desktop interface not being suited for the tablet, but it does need desktop FUNCTIONALITY which the iPad doesn't. It's tied to the app store, has no multitasking, and does nothing better than an iPod touch other than e-books.
@Seven: I'm curious to what you prefer on the mac for torrenting. I find that transmission has the best intergration with OS X. Vuze looks like a bastard child of kazaa and java (and runs like it too), and uTorrent is still missing many of the features of Transmission. To me transmission is the only way to go on a mac.
@jonny6pak: Try the app called "Ted". It runs in the menubar and has decent GUI for subscribing to shows.
Borderlands, the seemingly endless shooter
@Paul Y. can't get in the club; gotta parking lot pimp: Agreed, having a music collection of about 100GB and only an 8GB iPhone I end up syncing just playlists to the phone, which total size falls far below 8GB. The autofill feature comes in handy when I can't decide what artists or songs are worthy to take up the…
those speakers are legit, each one has it's own power supply
@astrocramp: Try using the browser. It organizes by artist, genre, or album. When you pick a artist, it'll show all their songs below. I never use iTunes without this feature on.
