Meh. The show is still good. What’s everyone complaining about?

Those are the movies you picked out as summer standouts? Yeesh. Enough with the boring superhero crap that only exists to make another movie.

I’ll be honest. There is so much I love about this video.

Marcia Lucas did suggest that Obi-Wan die. Many people say she was the heart and soul of the original trilogy and one of the few people that kept Lucas’ ego and ideas in check.

I think one could make the argument that CFB is “better” (ie more enjoyable) than the NFL, but CBB is an infinitely worse product than the NBA.

A bathtub in that space is fucking dumb. How often do these people take a bath? Pull out the bath tub and use that space as a closet or push the entire couch back and gain 20 - 25 extra sq feet of space.

Houston?!? You are literally an insane person. As someone who lived 6 years in Houston, Houston sucks.

I don’t disagree that Hinkie’s model was flawed, but it doesn’t disprove the fact that to win in the NBA you need a top 10 player. And the best (and quickest) way to get one of those players is being at the top of the draft and compiling assets. But you are right, Hinkie didn’t need to bottom out the way he did. A

To be fair, the Blazers do have a top 12 player on their team. All the other stuff you’re pointing out is secondary.

It made a killed though

Why does it have penis knees?

Why do people love telling me this? Yes, I understand. The cap is going up (drastically - potentially to $108M in two years). But, there will still be bad deals even with the increased cap. And this is one of them.

Isn’t this all on GM LeBron though? He handpicked this team. He wanted Kevin Love. He forced the Cavs to give $82M to a guy with only one above average NBA skill. He got the coach fired. This is exactly what happened the first time around. Short-sighted decision making with no concept of proper team building or

True. But those movies were hardly considered to be studio tentpoles. Fox was taking a flier on both. This is Batman V Superman! Marvel won’t be dropping the next Avengers in March.

*And March and October to a slightly smaller degree. His point is valid.

eh this is slightly revisionist because up until the last few years February and March have been traditional dumping grounds. Also, if a studio is worrying that a superhero blockbuster (featuring their two most valuable characters) will get lost in the summer shuffle... Well that’s not a good sign. There is plenty of

Shitty CGI is shitty

My favorite part of the Bill Simmons experience is his constant chastising of franchises for their mistakes in the draft. Despite never actually saying Player X would be better than Player Y at the time. But I’m sure he would have gotten it right.

As someone who works with Amazon I can tell you that reviews are really tricky for a business. It is very hard to get customers to spontaneously review a product and having good reviews (paid or not) creates more traffic and sales than having no reviews at all. And with the way Amazon’s listings work, the more reviews

Haha why? Because he doesn’t want to pay Osweiler $18M a year? Seems smart to me. His D already carried a below average QB to a SB. Elway is ahead of the curve. Why pay an average QB $18M when you can get 90% of that for $3M and spend the rest on defense? Unless you have a top 5 QB then you are overpaying. The league
