How about everyone does it the Spanish way? A woman keeps her full name including both last names (one from each parent). The children can be named with either the mother’s or the father’s last name given precedence. Doesn’t get much more equal than that.

Good review as usual. I don’t think anything can convince me that these are cool or desirable or superior to a motorcycle. Especially, like you say, not for $20k.

Umm what? Sound waves travel 360 degrees. Even if the exhaust is pointed backwards you can still hear the sound when the bike is traveling towards you. If you think loud pipes are annoying, fine, but please don’t argue stupid with stupid.

Ironically it would go over bumps much better with the smaller wheels. C’est la vie!

Head gasket :(

Agreed on all counts. Makes me just want to restomod 60s-90s cars with modern drivetrains, motors, and interiors. Throw in navigation, bluetooth, aux ports, and keyless entry for the modern perks.

They are certainly very shrewd commercials. They seem to have a very cynical view of the intelligence of their target market.

Hate the wheels and ride height. Also not huge on the rat rod rusty look. Otherwise, great truck.

Nice truck (and lovely ladies too) but I can find one of those in similar condition here in the South everywhere for around $3k. CP

The parking wherever you want on the side of the road is pretty normal in my experience outside of the U.S. What you really need to do is join the Mid Night Club and drive only at night while taking public transportation during the day.

I agree, just saying the heritage goes back further. The Explorer definitely came at the right time to ignite the craze but it wasn’t the first.

Why stop there? Go back to the Bronco/Bronco II, Blazer, Jimmy, and Cherokee.

The ad doesn’t mention if it runs, just that he’s put new tires on it. Sitting for 20 years, the things potentially wrong with it are just innumerable. It pains me to CP this but if the price were sub $2k then we could talk.

The other day I received an ad in the mail from a local Nissan dealership promoting their incentives and low financing rates. The only problem was I couldn’t think of a single car made by Nissan that was desirable. Like you say, they’ve lost all identity. And I wouldn’t categorize it as them being smart, but rather

At first glance I was gonna try cracking it but there are way more than 26 characters so its more of an ideographic “script”. Oh well.

You should read some Thomas Aquinas, he pretty much set the groundwork for Christian theology. Goes into the problem the evil, how it is basically an absence of good introduced into the world through sin, and how human free will intersects all that. Not saying it will convert you but it makes a lot sense and you can

That’s it, I’m going next year.
