It’s like hanging out in the Dungeons and Dragon’s club in my high school and realizing after a couple months that the girls there aren’t completely horrible looking.

“Looks Good” Justin
Well, in that case, I’ll just presume there was brownie points or job preservation involved and you actually hate it like the majority of us.
LOL I like how he rushed to edit it to “doors” now
Shhh, don’t tell him, the world isn’t ready for this kind of news.
Maybe he means that it performs similarly to an NSX with 2 wheels mounted? Hard to say, especially without knowing which 2 wheels the NSX gets to keep.
The NSX has a secret 5th wheel few people know about.
“While it won’t exactly be an NSX on four wheels...”
Looks like someone finally took away the can of silver spray paint they’ve been using on their interiors for so many years. Plus no silly 2nd screen below the first one. Push button transmission aside, I like it.
Cash hoards are really hard to defend to shareholders and employees. You better be a rock star company to have a lot of operating cash.
Big park of that debt is the insatiable need for market domination. They own Thrifty, Dollar and others.
I was just thinking the same thing. It feels like the global economy is a house of cards built on speculation and credit, and fueled by greed. Thousands of years of economic evolution and a two really bad months kills the machine.
I have never understood this way of thinking, neither with houses nor with cars. Maybe it is an European thing.
I’m convinced that most major corporations are just a house of cards — nothing more than accounting tricks to keep their heads barely above water while the executives enrich themselves. Tap one little card at the bottom and everything comes crashing down, except for executive salaries of course. Gotta take care of…
I was thinking that myself. It is mad for a company like Hertz to have such enormous debts. It means they’ve no room to manoeuvre when everything goes wrong. Obviously the world now is in unprecedented times but I do hope that coming out the other end more companies aim to build for the long term rather than short…
To me, it seems pretty fucked up that all of these large corporations run into difficulty so soon after a negative economic event(I claim rights to that term) that their existence becomes untenable.
Ha ha ha
My dad had an 05 C230Kompressor sport sedan with a 6MT...we went to a Benz mechanic who was from Germany. I told him several times that my dads Benz was a stick. In his german-ness he goes “Ja, zey all have ze modes”. I said, no...it has three pedals. “Zey all have three pedals”. Time comes for him to start it. He…
We have a 2011 c class with a stick. It’s a great car. Pretty sure that was the last year for MB sticks in the U.S.
Very aware, had a manual 2004 Benz, they were already a very rare thing back then.
