And why is there a ghost cat featured in a 2017 for sale ad of a 1996 accord?

If a person with some talent, creativity and time can produce this, why do companies spend millions using a marketing agency? Buzzwords must be expensive.
I work in film production and you better believe that when I go to sell my A3 I’m going to do something like this. It looks like so much fun to film, and is a fitting send off for a car (especially since most of us feel like our cars are part of our family).
I think that it’s overpriced , unless it’s absolutely perfect underneath. I’d do some serious haggling but I like it a lot.
I don’t like that I gave this a CP, but it’s just not that cool.
This is a unicorn, a straight six, select-able 4wd, manual wagon from a revered former american automaker with america in the gosh darn name in a shade that is close enough to brown to qualify. With the mileage it surely is an interesting piece to keep and take to cars and coffee, I just wonder though if when the…
awe fuk yes! The clock keeps time perfectly. What else do you need?
Very hard CP on this. My father had an 81' Concord. I wasn’t fun to drive. It wasn’t fun to be in. The interior was hard plastic that was cracking everywhere. The headliner fell out. In the winter we had to add cardboard barriers to the radiator to get it to warm enough for heat.
The only comparable alternatives to this that come to mind are Subaru wagons. With similar mileage, you’ll pay 2 to 2.5 times as much (quick search-not exhaustive scrounging).
I’m sorry, I love these cars but I’ve also driven these cars and there is no world where an AMC Eagle is worth five figures.
Manual brown wagon, stick, 4wd. This is MORE than the ultimate Jalop car. at 37200 miles I’d pay this or close to it.
$10K seems a bit much, but it is a brown manual wagon, which means it is fated to be purchased by a Jalop.
If the A/C works I would buy it and daily drive it. $10k for an interesting daily seems like a good deal to me.
Super clean car and something I would love to own, but that price is a little optimistic. I just dont think there is the collector market for these to justify that price.
I think it would depend entirely on the shape of the floorpans for me...if they’re in good shape, and the engine compartment’s as clean as the rest of the car, $10k’s about what these bring in this condition.
Well this little beauty checks off all of the right boxes; 4.2L straight 6, 5 speed manual, 2/4wd, wagon… Most likely, you folks are gonna kvetch about the price, and you may have a decent argument, but I challenge you to find another in this condition, assuming the mileage is trustworthy. As for the tachometer issue,…
You’re not going to find a better one. If you want one, this is the one that you should be getting.
Can I talk him down to 7.5-8k? Either way, pretty fantastic shape, and manual brown wagon (in and out).
A brown, manual, AWD wagon? It’s a Jalop’s wet dream.
NP: Only because I want one so badly and this is a fine example.
