My 2011 Honda Fit has the usual vent selector dial to point incoming air at your feet, your face, the windshield or assorted combinations. If you point it at the windshield, the A/C is automatically activated. The purpose of this is to remove moisture from the air so you don’t fog the inside of the windshield.
Not to be confused with Foamhenge, which is an actual thing.
