I think it sounds like this doctor freaked her out and her labor stalled. Maybe if they had left her alone, she would have progressed just fine. Point is, no one should be going through major surgery without first giving consent.

You also have a right to a second opinion when you are being told you need to have major surgery.
Not a medical professional here, but am a doula and a friend who worked as a doula in New York was telling me recently that the hospital environment is exactly as depicted in The Business of Being Born. In short, I completely believe things went down in this situation just as Dray says.
Mine is British and male! I love him. He might answer to Siri, but his real name is Clyde.
Excellent use of warp and weft.
And then have someone bring you food while you arrange your vases, pillows and framed succulents!
They just launched a home and lifestyle brand at Target, so maybe that’s where their focus will be.
We definitely don’t give her enough credit. The woman is a firecracker
Is it really that hard to follow more than one news story at a time?
I watched Riverdale this past week after scrolling past it for ages, and was extremely surprised with how enjoyable it was. Archie got hot is right. And dude’s from New Zealand. Yes please.
I don’t particularly think so either, but I could see how someone might describe their own cesarean that way. Particularly if it was scheduled for convenience sake and accompanied by plenty of medication and resources for recovery afterward.
I agree with all of these things except that I know many people who have given birth vaginally and none of them have had to have their vaginas replaced.
But she isn’t talking about you or your reasons for having a cesarean, she’s talking about her own experience and her choice to have one.
If it’s a scheduled cesarean for the sake of convenience as opposed to a cesarean after 50 + hours of labor and risk of infection.
Snap Judgment! It’s fantastic and they just created a spin off (Snap Judgement presents: Spooked) because the scary episodes they release in the fall are so popular.
The local county shelter takes in surrenders and strays. The humane society directs people who wish to surrender or have a stray animal to the county. You don’t have to believe me, that’s just the way it’s run.
Is it clear? That’s funny, because I currently volunteer as a dog walker with the local chapter of the Humane Society. They only euthanize animals that are sick or hurt beyond recovery and they do not have a time limit for how long they keep the animals that are up for adoption. If an animal is adopted and does not…
And my point is that the resources exist today that allow people to find such services that would suit their needs. It’s difficult to admit that you are in a place of such extreme hardship that you can no longer care for your animal/s much less yourself, but asking for help is a million times better than abandoning a…
It totally depends on the place! I got my pup from a rescue last March and I had to fill out an application, pay the fee and bring my roommates along so they could all meet the doggo, but that was all. Well, I also had to sign a thing saying I wouldn’t take the dog to Hannah Pet Society. But there wasn’t a home…
I adopted a dog in March and the only requirement (other than the adoption fee) was that all roommates meet the dog and agree to the adoption.
