You're very right. On a console that supports SD the consumer shouldn't have to worry that their Xbox supported setup isn't supported by their game.

Nobody is asking for both. The XBOX 360 supports SD and all of it's games do too. This game is the exception to the rule. They made the choice to play 4 games on a good SD they have instead of 2 on a crappy HD. It actually makes sense if you don't just assume that there is only one way to do things.

They aren't saying that their game should magically be magically HD on an SD tv. They are saying that a feature shouldn't be cut out for certain consumers. If the XBOX supports it, then the game should support it. This shouldn't have even passed certification, IMO.

It isn't like that... at all. Not at all, actually. The xbox 360 supports both standard definition and high definition games. I've never seen removed features for SD versions. It's something that the consumer should know before purchasing as it is a system requirement for a certain advertised feature.
