That’s why I don’t find her standup funny.
That’s why I don’t find her standup funny.
It’s because you’re threatened by how strong and funny she and her vagina are. Now, acknowledge it!
It’s as though she took on board all the criticism that the only jokes she doesn’t steal are about her vagina, and doubled down.
That’s just great, since most of the complaints I see about Amy Schumer are about how she only talks about her vagina.
I’m not saying he can’t. Of course he can, as he demonstrated. The driver is being pissy because he got told.
When you are selling easily replaceable products, market share is your competitive edge. They have substantial market share. To compete with that market share, they would need someone to raise enough VC capital to effectively subsidize drivers to steal market share.
Most of them aren’t defending the Uber CEO so much as saying the guy who is losing his shirt operating an Uber probably doesn’t have the business acumen to understand the structure.
It’s not an incorrect observation and it applies to nearly any company. I wouldn’t necessarily say “smarter” is the right word but you don’t go into an unskilled labor job as a commodity employee/contractor because you have the business acumen and knowledge to evaluate the company business model.
The counter point to all of this is THERE ARE STILL SO MANY FUCKING UBER DRIVERS OUT THERE. If the experience of being an Uber driver is so bad and the pay is so abysmal, then do something else with your time. If you literally have no marketable skills besides being able to drive drunk people around in your shitty ass…
So, the driver gave the rider one star because the driver didn’t like the way the conversation went after the driver brought up a topic in order to criticize the rider.
Yeah that will show him! Oh look, Uber Driver, car payment is due!
Every company wants to control its market. That’s the point of a company. A monopoly requires sole ownership of a utility, or government collusion to destroy competition. Does Uber have this?
Uber driver tells Uber CEO that he lost $97,000 because of him, and he went bankrupt because of it. Driver started pointing fingers in the CEO’s face after he basically told him how to run his own business. I’m not sure the tone of the CEO was unwarranted.
Uber is the most popular, therefor hating it is the edgier stance to take.
Counter point: Guy whose business acumen has led him to become an uber driver criticizes the business strategy of CEO who built a $70 billion company. CEO holds his ground.
Um no, a signal light does not give the driver the right to cut in, drive through or turn into anything.
Right after he cuts in, the cop car brake dives, so I presume the Toyota may have brake checked to show his displeasure.
my thoughts exactly, that suv merged, signalled into the middle lane, and then signalled to the left lane, that cop could have, but didn’t want to let him in, and was pissed off that the suv added 5 seconds to his trip back to the station.
Cut off the vehicle to get into the middle lane, then proceeded to cut off the cop to get into the left lane.
Honestly I don’t see what the white Sequoia did wrong; it appears to be stop and go traffic, it also appears there is a left exit or split coming up (watch till the end), the Sequoia signals to move into the lane, there was a white accord directly behind the Sequoia therefore if the Sequoia slows they’re slowing…
