A handfull of my coworkers did a Halo 2 LAN party ah0ut a month back. It was fun, but somewhat irritating getting all the legacy hardware to cooperate with each other. Even had a few Duke controllers to play with!

I stumbled apon one parked outside The Blind Pig resturant in Fort Collins a few months back crusing in my 240Z. They are stunning, I'd like to own one at some point.

I’m torn on this as yes, you are correct that halo cars shouldn’t be parts bin specials. But I do appreciate that the ‘Vette being a parts bin special means replacements should theoretically be easier and cheaper to source if anything breaks in say, 20 years or so. If I were to buy a halo car like this my intent would

If you have to ask, you can’t afford it

Similar condition K/5s and Broncos go for this ammount, NP.

I use them for buying games on digital storefronts(Xbox and Nintendo storefronts) as well as renewing my Live membership. It prevents me from making impulse gaming buys, keeps my card info off of hackable digital storefronts(Sony breach around 2011), stops auto renewal services(had a friend who fought Microsoft for

Excellent goals. For myself I would have a hard time justifying taking something iconic and well kept and modifying it. If one was already missing parts, had bad body panels, ect I would feel far less horrible about converting it than I would a clean example like this

It's too bad Ferrari only ever made one convertable TR

I’d love to do a convertable conversion to a trashed Testarossa, ala Outrun. This one is too nice to do that kind if work to, but still worth the asking price.

Ours growing up always had tools in it, so....no. We had a mechanics toolbox, but our drawer had stuff for around the house repairs like hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, ect

Stevie Knicks is doing K-Pop now?

This whole setup is fucking stupid, but it does explain why people are still moving to Colorado from CA. I was hoping there would have been a mass exodus of former CA residents from my state after this passed, but of course they had to over regulate it.

My SIL got me an Akina Speed Stars sticker for my 240z!

Cars like this make me wonder why no mainstream racing franchise has put Soviet and Russian cars in their games yet. I for one am getting tired of the stable of nine million Ferraris in every Forza game, give me some Soviet rides to hoon in!

You aren’t wrong, but remember most kids these days can’t be bothered to learn it either. That trend was starting around the time I got my licence back in '08 and hasn't let up since. I know 25 year olds who just got their licence, but still want to Uber or Lyft everywhere.

I love the part about how this story was meant for new, teenage drivers, who may or may not know how to do most of these things and could use an easy service like this.

Hey David, have you thought about pulling the engine and trans from Swiss Cheese and throwing it into your ‘92? It'd solve both problems at once

It refers to people(the crabs here) trying to escape debt(the bucket) by crawling over each other, pushing each other down, ect when none of them have a chance to escape. The crabs are too focused on getting out of their own plight that they don’t realise they aren’t getting anywhere and are just screwing each other

The same can be said of Windows, but when your job requires you to use computers all day catering to the 1% of the whole company’s workforce ends up pissing off the other 99%. I know it works well for our engineers but they don’t use it as much as production. I’d just really rather have a buggy system I know how to

I have to use Linux on my work computers and it’s trash. Half of our systems are Windows based, half Linux and they don’t like to work together well at all. The only reason why we use it is because our engineers love it, but they use it maybe 1/8th of the time they’re on the clock.
