For me, the S with the compass rose feels like something that came out of a heavily focus-grouped marketing pitch from 1994. It's beyond dated and far too busy.
I have a few retro-Mariners things. Their old colors are royal blue and canary yellow and their old logo is an M in a trident shape. I'm not sure why, but I like the color and style of this era, so I keep buying it.
This is why I don't actually get presents for my birthday any more. I used to ask for a random game each year, but with my impatience and that I'm nearing 40, birthday gifts really don't matter any more.
When I was a kid, I loved going to the bookstores and just reading through all the books in the video game guide section. Many were poorly written cash grabs, but every year for Christmas I would get a new edition of my gold standard "Secrets of the Games" series like:
Ahhhh I imagine I'm missing a lot from the update as I don't have, nor intend to have, any amiibos
I appreciate that approach as well and I knew what I was getting into beforehand, but I think I got discouraged by reading a guide and realizing that 80% of the game was still hidden from me. Maybe it's my play schedule as well, as I'm much more evening focused, but I rarely see the visitors. I've seen the art dealer…
I have somehow gotten myself worked up for Final Fantasy XV. I've been seeing a lot of early buzz that is positive about it. While I have very little interest in anime, something about this dude road trip is intriguing to me. I think I'm expecting to like it on a campy level (very much like FF X-2) and everything I'm…
Ah yes, I was going to ask if someone wanted to do this. Looking forward to joining
Does that RV park do anything but sell items? Since my house is so small, I don't ever feel interested in buying the furniture there, so I've already quit going.
I've been back into Animal Crossing after two months away from it. I had hit this point where I was doing my first town projects, which were just bleeding bells from me, and I only saw myself in this loop of fishing and selling. On top of this, I tend to hoard furniture for that point in time in which I get the…
As he's on my team, I give him a bit more leeway, but he's possibly the biggest dick we've got. His little sideline tantrums have been amusing to watch because he's even playing his little mind games with himself.
I'm pretty certain I'll be watching the 'Hawks get destroyed this Sunday. The last 10 actual minutes of the Bills game was a master class example of attempting to lose. I fully expect an entire game of that this weekend.
Very nice article. Football has brought me closer to a lot of people that I may have never really gotten to know. I did a Pig Skin Pick 'em for the first time this year and made a friend out of someone in upper middle management. Moving on up!
Vancouver-ized Chicago still looks more like the real thing than Watchdog game Chicago.
I thought nvidia would be releasing another variation on their chipset this fall, but so far, it still seems like it's topped out at the 1080. Personally, I'm hesitant to dive into that until I can get a reasonably solid 4k frame rate. Don't they generally do two releases a year?
I'd venture to guess the S and the Scorpio will have entirely the same form factor with only some changes to whatever board sits inside them. All other aspects between the two seem to be at parity, at least from what I've read. It almost seems like MS has the manufacturing down for their future so why not grab a few…
Agreed on all counts.
That's what I use mine for. I don't even have any actual infrastructure in it; I rely entirely on food and water left over from the provisioned connections. That said, and I'm still not sure why, I had the population decrease by 1, despite it always being above 50% happy.
I believe one of the ways you can fix the "no more beds unless you are physically in sanctuary" issue is to go through each of the houses and destroy/store any of the TV's (powered or not) that are around. I've done this in two different play throughs and had success with it. (I cannot remember if it lasts permanently…
