I played Dark Cloud 2 as a rental during a weekend where I had the flu. As a result, I remember fits and spurts about it. I often remember mechanics or small details of "game things" that I ultimately think were in that game, but I can't remember. I wonder if that is what dementia is like.

Curious as to why you're not a fan of Diablo 3's updates. I've not played the seasons stuff as I quit on my PC to play only on the console, but they've done a good job to help someone like me — that doesn't go online and research min/maxing every detail — understand how they intend for people progress through Torment

Your local calendar of events can be so many places in this world, but I'm pretty certain that its Salem, Oregon.

Chicken Tikka Masala monster? A sentient pool of spices, meat, and cream?

I did really well at work last year so I treated myself to the full version of Guild Wars 2, which I just thought I'd try out but got hooked on. So now I actually have a desire to join a guild and not just be one of the free to play goons running around the maps. I hope the community there is decent.

video game bathrooms are a handy bench mark for whatever technical bells and whistles are in game. Does the mirror reflect? If so, you're already doing more than 80% of other games over all time. If not, hey, just make it look like someone punched them all out. (I'm surprised that intact mirrors in Fallout don't make

I don't play Blizzard games for the story, but they generally have far better writing of their stories than their genre's would have. Their overall plots aren't quite there, but the small pieces of writing in them are generally great.

Yes! I gotta end the release date purchase as well. Digital download is a real siren for this. I think Just Cause 3 got me to " hit rock bottom" because that game is a real turd compared to their previous one. I think I've started it once since I bought it

I'm going to try to stop caring how much "value" a game provides me and just play what interests me. This means more indies that I might only play for an afternoon as well as accepting the fact that I might just consider myself done with a game when it feels rote.

I generally do the same thing with multiple play throughs, however my second playthrough of Bethesda games is a female that basically turns out looking like Rachel Maddow. I started this trend back with Oblivion on accident and got stuck this character that looked like her. I thought I'd hate it but ultimately grew

Shit, I get roller coaster stomach just falling significant heights in a normal game. I don't need this

I hadn't heard it until playing SR3. I'm just out of that age demographic that would have heard it and remembered it.

Or Haddaways "What is Love?" which made the on-rails ship escape scene actually enjoyable.

I had only heard the name of it and assumed it was related to Devil May Cry or something

I can echo this. All we had were construx and if we didn't build cars, we built weapons.

The Kausion song they play at the intro to GTA Online is one of my favorite "songs I discovered via games". Considering how, in its infancy, GTA Online wiped my character 4 times, I had that unskippable intro memorized. Aw Shit, that's my jam!

I'm only 10-15 hours in so I'm still in that phase where I'm trying to find out "The Way It's Meant to Be Played". Not so much the sneakin and killing but, when should I go back to base, do I really need to take out every outpost between me and the mission target, should I do side ops during missions or in free roam,

I was sliding down a ladder while a minion was climbing up it and sent him flying. I knew he was there, but I'm the Boss.

This Dandelion-is-Jar Jar thing is a perfect description of him. He's right out of the CW.

If you mean Skylines, there is a sandbox mode built in the release version. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know all the details of it. I also get very tired of needing to progress so I can do certain things. Being able to see where natural resources are located should not be 3+ tiers in, as well as specializing
