I think he's great. I'd much rather have his brand of hosting than the transparent and smarmy stylings of pretty much every other host.

Oh God, why'd you have to point this out. My week is irredeemably ruined.

What really made that scene a harder gut punch was that Jimmy didn't say anything mockingly to Chuck about the fake condition… He respected it until the end (even validated it in his anger about the phone call burning) and didn't try to get in a cheap shot.

If anything, the cover is the unseen-on-the-show one that Luanne drew. Now that's dignity all right.

Often times the term 'natural ally' is a nebulous concept, but if Iran can let go of Mossadegh and the US can let go of the hostage crisis, the world will really learn how cosmopolitan Iran and its citizens truly are, as you said. It's so frustrating to see what could be a very mutually beneficial relationship

"If it's a legitimate landing, the moon has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

You're being purposely obtuse. How many times have I mentioned "relative" and "scale" and "deserves [some] attention" but lamented the "more attention" I wish was paid to other religions since the top comment? It's great to shed light on Scientology's abuses, but I feel especially inundated with it on the internet,

Absolutely. But I think there's a broader conversation to be had about why, say, Hinduism or Islam or Christianity or whatever else are similarly protected when there's a litany of allegations against pretty much every one. It just seems to me that Scientology is dissociated from the rest too often as this strange

Some top Hollywood people also supposedly throw poolside cocaine-fueled orgies where they traffic in underage boys.

Surely you can't actually think that's what I'm saying? Scientology is objectively stupid and dangerous and deserves attention. But it's an obscure religion of a couple hundred thousand people at most (if you disregard the inflated and unreliable self-reported numbers of their own propaganda).

I'm not a Scientologist or anything, but why does this one religion garner so much vitriol disproportionate to its incredible obscurity? Not to engage in too much whataboutism, but it strikes me that the media—and society in general—has sanctioned the Church of Scientology as a 'safe' target. You—as an anonymous

It seemed a little more spaced out—drawn out?—than that, but perhaps a variation thereof.

Is it confirmed that he won't be a regular in season 6? That's disappointing to hear. I thought this time it was for good. I just want those two crazy kids to be happy.

"Oh dear, I'm afraid you caught me while I'm indisposed. Let me go put on my face."

I kind of got a Festivus vibe out of the whole thing too, what with the Airing of Grievances, Rick performing the Feats of Strength with the walkers, and the miracle of Morgan's return.

The title of this episode could have just as easily have been "The Trial of Rick Grimes."

God's grace?

Noah was the most recent minor character to die. Those are the rules.
