The only people I’ve heard shitting on that accent are Americans on Film Twitter and the AV Club comments looking for things to shit on in a Marvel thing. The British people I know thought it was solid, and one who didn’t know him as an actor thought he was a British actor.

Yeah, I think that’s what this is. They already kinda did that with Johnny in Cobra Kai, so I think this is such an obvious choice it’s kinda redundant.

Could Colin Trevorrow please not ever make another movie again? I think we can safely say that Safety Not Guaranteed was a total fuckin fluke, given that it was a pretty fun B- movie, and everything else he’s done is unbelievable trash.

Fallen Kingdom is delightfully silly. New director not trying to pretend he was making a real movie, no cynical  bullshit, no bad corporate America satire, just thrills and chills, and deliriously over the top. Most of it takes place in a bizarro gothic mansion for gods’ sake
