Came to say that. Fuckin bone-breaking smackdowns between him and Tom Holland in this. I really think it was maybe the most crunchy fighting in any of these movies since the Winter Soldier or maybe Civil War. And it was used to tell two different emotional states: Their first big fight through the apartment building…
Yeah, he’s definitely misconstruing “Not giving a fuck/rolling their eyes and talking shit about him behind his back” for cheering him on.
He would absolutely be a Trump supporter, but I’m glad Bob’s Burgers doesn’t have Trump. I don’t think the kind fabric of its reality could bear it.
One of the best shows on TV. It’s one of the only shows that is excellent the moment it starts. There’s no, “Well, the first few episodes are kinda slow, buuuut” nonsense. It just knows 100% what it is and how to be it from the first second, and gets better and better as it goes.
I went from not agreeing at the beginning of your comment to totally agreeing at the end.
The Amazing Spider-Man has some great stuff. Andrew Garfield is lovely, and that scene at the end between Peter and Aunt May is terrific. It’s at least better than its sequel.
It’s weird to do so much work on the visual effects but have such absolute garbage sound design. Jesus, those splat noises.
It’d be farcical if this new layer weren’t so fucking awful
It’s sad that I’m relieved when it appears someone is just an unrepentant asshole and not a sexual abuser.
Dowd gave it a B, which is quite high praise from that guy
Ah man he’s so much fun in Toy Story 4. Thank you for this.
But then Kinjavclub would have a tangible improvement that might make the site more useable, and we can’t have that.
Fuck me I envy your movie time!
I’ve been hoping Pascal would be doing more total ham roles since being the only good thing about Wonder Woman 84. He was so much zany fun in that movie, but the movie refused to gel around what he was trying to do with the role.
Trying to remember the last time I was this hyped after seeing a trailer
That was a great performance, but it was one-note by design, because...it was like a five-minute explosion. It was sorta supposed to be? It ruled, but it’s weird to get so high on the list there.
I am always delighted by what a goofball he is. A lot of the memification of him has focused on his history of personal tragedy, distaste for extravagant celebrity lifestyle, etc, to the point that he comes off as sort of somber and almost over-serious, but he seems to actually be quite silly, which is just great.
People care...about movies? Yeah dude, art persists, entertainment continues to entertain. Walking and chewing gum simultaneously is baked into the human condition.
