Basically, conventionally beautiful, cisgender, non-disabled white actors get to play their own demographic and everyone else’s, too.
Tbh, I really appreciate how open Kim is with her struggles. She’s got a pretty magical life, but she deals with some hard stuff and ain’t afraid to let the world know. You keep doin’ you, Kim.
I believe she’s going for alliteration?
The girls are just as responsible as the boys,” the parent said,
Get black out drunk on the weekends? Hey, whatever. But use weed to help your debilitating disease and get fired because fuck you, that why. Absolute bullshit.
There’s lots of things the Kardashian family needs to be criticized about, especially how they appropriate black culture, but ‘she’s a whoooooreeee!!!1!’ is not really one of those.
8 years ago today I was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer at the age of twenty. Today I’m alive, healthy, and thriving. So fucking thankful.

I will never understand this line of thinking. “Pregnancy works this way for me, therefore I cannot even even conceive of the idea that women exist whose bodies do not react to pregnancy exactly like mine!”
They were often worn by a certain type of woman, aged 25 to 35, generally busty, generally working out some kind of tense negotiation between prettiness and being angry about something their phone told them.

Tipping might make you feel personally better, but it doesn’t fix the industry or keep the bosses from just skimming more tips. if you’re going to pay…
Or that we require the enforcement of labor laws so people are paid just wages. Tipping is a hugely problematic system that does not improve worker treatment. Every evaluation of tipping indicates it’s racist and sexist as hell for workers and encourages racist and sexist treatment of customers.
The takeaway from this should not be, oh hey, when you get your mani-pedi, be sure to give the wage slave who does it a couple of extra bucks that her boss might not steal.
