If anyone in my life feels “alienated” by my photos from overseas, they’re not paying attention. I went there to WORK and half of my followers on IG are students, so there are tons of school activity photos too that they tag themselves in. I only reposted the vacation ones to Facebook, and I couldn’t give a damn if

I openly admit to occasionally using them to subvert ass hats. I often work motorcycle industry conventions for a magazine I sometimes write for. At these events, I typically get confused for a rented booth girl. (a compliment maybe? I ... I don’t think so because...) Men often talk down to me, assuming I don’t know

For anyone who want to know which NGOs have “boots on the ground” this site is absolutely indispensable: http://reliefweb.int/ Central reporting site for everyone who is anyone in the relief effort. Also this website if you are interest in who sent or promised what... and who has actually delivered. http://fts.unocha.o

It doesn’t get as many clicks. :|

It is disappointing/frustrating, but it was covered on Gawker and they don’t always like to duplicate topics. Would’ve been nice to see the Gawker article cross-posted at least, but I think it’s just because staff is very light on the weekends and it’s easy for things to slip through the cracks. Such a devastating

Therapists who forget what we’ve talked about make me feel so angry. I go by my middle name, so when I come in each week and you call me by my first name, I know you’re not paying attention. And then to basically have to re-explain exactly what my issue is every single time - it makes me feel so unimportant. Like, I

I’m gobsmacked, frankly. I thought I knew in my bones this was all tabloid bullshit.

Yes. Incredibly brave. I have to admit I half believed this narrative was all trash mag hearsay but since it now seems to be true, I only wish peace and happiness for Bruce in the future.

Gross. They mention in the Indian Country Today article that many of them will stay and take the shitty treatment because they need the job. I recently watched Reel Injun on Netflix, and it’s appalling that Hollywood can still get away with such blatant disrespect and racism. But people will tell them “Lighten up!

you seem to be blaming her pretty hard for her death and subsequent abuse

What the fuck? Crime scene photos are important but cops don’t touch and move dead bodies. They certainly don’t fucking undress them. The ME does that in the morgue. What the actual fuck happened here?

It’s a bummer that you mistakenly feel like people can only care about one thing at a time AND that you think animals are merely some sort of Cartesian clockwork tool you can dispose of when they are no longer “useful.” I see your smug self-righteousness and raise you an “I think your callous disregard for life is

The fuck is your problem, are you a friend of Paula’s? It explicitly said in the story he told her Paula was aware. The words “sanctimonious asshole” were invented for you, you slutshaming nutjob. Get mad at him, if you must. She’s not the keeper of his marriage, he is.

Are you being facetious? Cause if not that’s one douche response.

Yeah, but a lot of times guys will say they're into eating pussy, then find reasons not to, or to do it really badly and refuse to take direction, then still expect a cookie for their time. I mean, if a woman blowing a guy started biting at him and refused to stop, you wouldn't hear people telling the guy that he

The biggest WTF of the night. We just passed through a year of the most visibility domestic violence and abuse has had in the mainstream entertainment world, thanks to the NFL's incompetence with the Ray Rice situation. And the Academy graces us with not one, but two (maybe more, am I forgetting any?), domestic

Honestly, the academy cannot keep playing Wes Anderson like this. I'm willing to accept that GBH wasn't best picture material, but not winning best original screenplay? Come on, guys.

Birdman is more interesting than good - in my opinion. But I also know a lot of people who loathed it. I say go watch Theory of Everything, a much better movie overall than Still Alice (only remarkable thing about it is Julianne Moore - otherwise pretty subpar)

I went to see it with my brothers before Christmas and found it unbearable. Like physically unbearable. The constant swinging of the camera made me sick. I had a headache 20 minutes in, and by the last 30 minutes I was nauseated and covering my eyes because I just couldn't take it. The random loud cymbal clanging
