I'm cautiously optimistic about this. I never liked Moulin Rouge but this might be a project suited to Luhrmann's flashy visual style. I feel DiCaprio lacks the enigmatic quality of Gatsby but I'm willing to give him a shot and not judge his performance solely based on the trailer.

I'm white, but I completely understand your point. There are a lot of movies aimed directly at black audiences that feature almost all black casts like "First Sunday,"Think Like a Man," "Red Tails," or anything with Queen Latifah in it that are just plain awful.
