The Dyson at work stinks. It has a hard time picking up dustbunnies. I'm guessing there is something wrong with it, but I was really expecting a lot better the first time I used it. I have a Kirby at home and have been happy with it.

Yes, my friend is sending voice messages through the web interface and it is showing up as "From" random numbers. Lovely, huh? His wife thought so too.
Sorry, I'm master of the obvious. :)
So if we were having a discussion why are you so aggressive? Why all the name calling and implied insults? I was done when I thought you were getting upset. Your wording became very aggressive and took the argument from a simple disagreement to the next level. I love having discussions and I don't mind…
Alcohol is a depressant. So that is probably why you still have to keep finding new things for your doctor to prescribe for your depression. :p
Absorb that energy and use it. heh.
I am an electrical engineer. I worked on a team that designed a nano satellite while in college. Yes, a college student can design a f-ing data cable. In fact we designed data cables that had to function in space, handle direct sunlight and freezing subzero temperatures, handle vibrational loads and use a more…
I didn't but now I can't unsee it. Thanks.
Security personnel are watching everyone all the time, ergo they aren't watching you 100% of the time unless there is one security guard per person at the event you are going to.
The warning signs used to be low enough, but damnedest thing was that people kept hitting them and knocking them down... How do I know? Just by the sheer numbers of people who hit that bridge and keep driving...
Your electronics store example cannot be applied to my argument. I never once said that profit margin mattered at that end of the scale. I did say that when it is up in the 19x times range that it should be considered. By considered, I mean that it should be considered whether it is reasonable for the components…
Yes, I'm find with percent markups in the hundreds. I fully understand how much it costs to make the hamburger, a subway sandwich and a pizza hut pizza. I understand how business works and that the company has to make money for themselves, their employees, etc.
Markup isn't the only measure, but when something is 1900% more than it costs to make that is out of line. Like any measure, if something is too far out of line it isn't realistic.
The only way a cable is rendered useless by an update is if Apple specifically filters out that knockoff cable. They have to actively block it from working. Of course they won't do that to their own cable... unless of course they do because by blocking they knock-off they disable some percentage of legit cables. …
Actually, it's sensitive electronics are probably in a cheap type of Faraday cage that the microwaves cannot penetrate.... probably not all that expensive at all, just extra weight / fuel.
You're putting the button too high up. Put it lower on your shirt and there will naturally be enough slack for you to move around. Put it on the button by your neck and naturally you'll have the problems you described.
What do you mean "supported for years to come" ? Seriously, if you send back an Apple brand cable back to Apple they will probably tell you that you were holding it wrong.
If you had a drill running at 3.3v, you'd call it a manual screwdriver with an LED worklight. ;)
Not only is this awesome news and he's looking better than ever, but the striking thing for me is that I was just talking about this very topic with a friend of mine earlier today before I saw the news. Interesting coincidence.
So, we hookup toddlers to old people and we are on the road to becoming superbeings. Got it. Well, the toddlers minds mature faster and the old people get a brain-refresh. It seems like a win-win to me.
