Great advice; we all know what they say about common sense...

So you get the seller to list every possible part that comes on a car? Tires, wheels, lug nuts, radiator, ac, alternator, motor, transmission, switches, etc, etc.?

Good read. What do you think a permanent agreement will look like regarding the players? The only one I could see leaving is Assad. I don’t see ISIS walking away, and can the Kurds be expected to form some sort of lasting peace given what happened between them and the Islamists?

This won’t be as bad as some stories, but relative to how much money I had at the time it was devastating.

Spot on about Cosmos. That show was so... bizarre from a historical perspective that it’s not even watchable. Couldn’t even make it halfway through the series.

I live in a subdivision off of a winding, hilly, tree-lined 2-lane road with a speed limit of 45mph (which is pushing it from a safety standpoint). There are almost zero turn lanes for left or right turning traffic, and at night there is no visibility due to lack of lighting. There are wrecks on this road constantly.

How do you know he was driving too slow? If the speed limit is 70 and you want to do 90, other drivers aren’t obligated to clear a path like you’re running code.

That was glorious.

Damn, I got a contact high on this one.

David, I’m really jealous you get to have 5 (FIVE!!) beater cars.

I am curious to see how the Model 3 release will affect sales of the S and X. I suspect a lot of people are purchasing the S because there isn’t any other option for an electric car with over 200 miles of range.

Until they make something for under $25,000, I don’t give a shit.

I’m sure plenty of boy-racer wannabes will show up to rationalize why it’s cool when they race on the street, what with their Superior Driving Ability and all that.

I guess the $50 Billion we gave GM in 2009 wasn’t enough, huh? Funny how NOW they’re all concerned about playing fair and operating under the same rules. What a joke.

“ GM believes that all industry participants should operate under the same rules and requirements on fundamental issues that govern how we sell, service and market our products.”

Awww, that’s cute! You still think America has a free market!

I JUST realized why it’s called a trunk!

The bigger question, why in holy hell would The Sunday Times publish an article penned by Clarkson, on TRANSGENDER ISSUES. That makes as much sense as Kanye West writing for Popular Mechanics or something.

Huzzah! A editorial stand that I can support!

I grew up in a northwestern mountain town and got my driver’s license at 15. Winter started in October and ended in May. I had a RWD ‘91 Toyota pickup I shared with my brothers. We drove all over the state in the winter, through blizzards, ice, snowstorms, you name it.
