ACAB is one thing, but there’s not such thing as a bad dog. Only bad owners.

Look at all the insane shit male rockers/pop stars/rappers do to their families, themselves, their co-artists and fans and yet they remain in full control of their assets and lives. This has ALWAYS been a spit in every woman’s eye. When women choose to have kids a good portion of their freedom can be taken away.

I’ll take a little bit of solace in knowing she passed at home, instead of in some bar-less hospital…

Ken Jennings has negative charisma. That he would even be considered is insane to me. The only way to make Ken Jennings seem watchable is to put him next to James Holzhauer, who might be the least charismatic person ever to grace the small screen.

It screws up your job opportunities in Hollywood if you speak up about people with more power sometimes. Well it did, people seem to be better about that not being the case as much. I’m sure it still happens and will continue to. It's not their fault for not being more vocal.

Anyone else think it’s kind of nice to have these stories that don’t matter in any way shape or form? Like, not matter in the slightest, not so much as a scintilla of mattering. Not an atom, not a quark, not a tachyon wandering through the inky vastness of the universe. No matter where this spat goes it won’t matter

I can’t believe in 2021 people are still saying shit like this.

By “bad decisions” do you mean “hitting on and having a relationship with a child”? Because no, it’s not unreasonable to wonder how someone can make such a terrible, terrible decision.

I think there’s a limit to how much we should bend the truth to satisfy someone’s wishes.

One thing I wonder is whether it’s necessary to act like his name was always Elliot.

I figured, but I grew up in a time of womyn, and want to be sure that people feel heard. Adjusting to the “they” isn’t an issue. Making sure I do it right is.

The idea that -or/-ress words as being male and female terms is pretty common, but given the general meaning of the -or/-er suffix is “one who does” it would be better to think of it as a neuter/female dichotomy. Like ‘janitor’ or ‘observer’, the word itself is not meant to identify a gender, and the fact that we have

Pregnant?

I understand that it’s a bit weird when he was famous for so long under another name, but if people write articles about Elton John or Snoop Dogg and talk about their childhoods they don’t revert to calling them Reg Dwight or Calvin Broadus the whole way through those paragraphs.

What an actor he is. When I saw Juno, I fell in love with that character. She was exactly the type of girl I was attracted to in high school.

Whatever trauma and pain he was going through playing a person going through such a feminine experience, it doesn’t come through and the performance is amazing.

Glenn Close is so embarrassingly cartoonish in Hillbilly Elegy

I dunno.  I’m still waiting for Michael Shannon to get his turn.

Once they put Brydon in the host spot, the chemistry between him, David Mitchell and Lee Mack became the engine that keeps that show going.

Can they order an American version of Bob Mortimer?

Maybe this will provide Britain the push it needs to give up it’s racist constitutional monarchy and adopt a true racist democracy like us.
