I kind of agree, but the lack of HBO Max on Roku devices has itself been a story since it launched.

No! This has to stop! If we have to say we’re sorry every time a boob or genital pops through clothing, I’m going to have to apologize for the last hour of every birthday party I’ve ever had!

Yay! Not a slideshow! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My family is in kind of the same situation with my mom’s cousin so we don’t see her much. But I cringe at the fact that one “study” that wasn’t a study at all is still held up by so many and is still causing so much harm.

Singular they actually goes way back to the 14th century, though I admit for present day people it can be confusing if it’s not (yet) part of their lingo.

Counterpoint: we should not deadname the trans man who just bravely came out to the entire world, actually

Well look at that! A surprise 2020 announcement that isn’t shitty!

Brooker’s Screen Wipe was awesome. I look forward to this.

*Fingers crossed* Nathan Barley sequel. Nathan Barley sequel. Nathan Barley sequel.

Why was Annaleigh Ashford in this show for one single scene?

Maybe he jumped over to her since she had even more death associated with her and she had a more active role in creating it.

I was too, the way people treated Laura was completely uncalled for, but I’ve never seen a contestant who basically accidentally made their way to the final. I guess if we ever go on Bake Off we now know that your bake can look like garbage but it doesn’t matter much if it tastes great.

Pretty much. Like - I get. The show is judged week to week. Laura is the exact reason why that’s a bad judging model. With Hermine or Lottie or either Marc, there would have been tension and a real sense of competition.

The image of Dave grinning and eating his choux buns while Peter panickily tries to put his showstopper together had such extreme villain energy.

Hermine would’ve won...

Hollywood Handbook vs Auntie Donna

One of those communities is routinely murdered. God forbid John Cleese gets some backlash on Twitter.

Gonna disagree - this is probably one of the safer shows to record during a pandemic. One contestant at a time. Outside. Very distanced. Hosts don’t need to be on set. The water is chlorinated. Let’s hope they clean the obstacles between people though.

Show up for a few scenes, then die so our protagonists appear to be in peril without actual consequences.
