Michaela Coel is SO talented. I'm glad this show is being reviewed because it already feels like something I'm going to want to read more about and discuss after every episode. So thank you!

That does make sense, but also the caption on the header image says HBO
Totally agreed. Plus seems like Molly’s doing more to try to repair the friendship, while Issa seems ready to let it fall off, which is super sad. I definitely felt for Molly in this episode (and really this whole season so far).
My hardest laugh of the episode was when they stopped running after they realized it was Stanley on the stretcher.
Glad to be quarantined so I can be sobbing at my desk from the comfort of my home.
Loved this episode, loved that the tiles in the hotel lobby looked like the Post-it notes Kim stuck all over the window way back in season 1(?), NEED an Emmy for Rhea I mean come on
That might have just been the premise for the first episode, the second episode had no podcast reviewing. The general theme seems to be “Tom and Julie talk about things” which is enough to keep me tuning in every week. I haven’t checked out the bonus content though.
The cast alone had me, but knowing Dennis Kelly is writing it has so pumped! Utopia was one of my favorite shows, and while I’ll probably watch the remake (proooobably), I’m way more excited for this.
I feel like more time could have been spent talking about how the app is 60GB. I need to know more.
To me she looked a lot like Carrie, who was brought into the Chez Ami for Wolcott in season 2. And then when she said her last name was Wallgarden/Wolgarden, it sent me down a path of wondering if the characters were somehow related or something. Clearly not though.
I’m kind of annoyed with how quickly I watched season 2 of Fleabag, but I guess I can take my time when I inevitably rewatch both seasons.
Oh weird, they must have just recently removed it from their free offerings because I watched it using my Starz subscription (which I cancelled after the show ended). But I agree, probably worth the price to buy it.
When they joked (I assume) in a recent episode about the next Tournament of Chompians theme being salad, I genuinely thought it was a great idea.
Don’t forget about Leri Russell, The Americans
I think she’s referring to the fact that the Fake Lola does several of the things Real Lola said she would never do (tell her audience she loves them, cam in public, talk about her family). But she’s similar enough that no one questions it, otherwise it wouldn’t work.
I kind of just assume he’s going to be back with a new character even though that’s definitely wishful thinking.
I thought Michael’s chest tattoo said “Oh my Jesus...” for the longest time, but I think it’s actually “On my honor...” which is way less funny.
You can buy the season on Amazon, but as far as I know that’s it for now.
Same for me. I would have loved to use Overcast, but it just doesn’t function on my phone. I tried like four other podcast apps, but they were all marginally worse than the crappy Apple podcast app so I’m stuck with that.
My mom wouldn’t let us watch Bambi or movies of that sort, but she was fine with pretty much everything else. Like at 8 I could watch South Park but not Dumbo (which, as an adult, I sort of get).
