Jenn didn't suck as much as others, but she did suck.

If I believed in the old stereotypes, I'd be worried. If I believed in your new stereotypes, I'd also be worried.

It isn't about labeling anything. At the extreme absurd end, non-racists are going to jail right now in Georgia for extreme incompetence (cheating), while slave-owning racists wrote the US Constitution. Some people get the gist of a thing, others prefer to superimpose an agenda. But it's really a sea of grey.

If it's good or funny, who cares what race? If it's not, please don't say it's good or funny just because we're afraid of being called racist. That kind of incompetence is spreading far and wide with no sign of letup.

The rest of the show wasn't funny because it wasn't diverse enough.

It's important to the plot, but it's not the plot. I hope.

The episode was a well-made placeholder, advancing the plot not a single whit.

I once received Leslie Halliwell's 1991 Film Guide. It seemed more exhaustive than the others (lots of short subjects, for instance), though less cross-reference friendly. I disagreed with most of its reviews, but used the consistent POV to navigate pretty well. If the word "unpleasant" appeared in a review, I found

Is that from a magazine?
