1) Because the vast majority of people don’t have a good understanding about deadlifting properly.

Could also just warm up doing squats or deadlifts..adding weight to bar so your body engages in the patterns you’ll be using for the actual lift.

Better idea: if you’re deadlifting and consistantly dragging the bar up along your shin you are doing it wrong. Fix your form.

That’s....not how that works. At all. If they think their time is more valuable not cleaning their house so they can do other things (like knit scarves, build model trains, whatever).Just because they want to not do somethings doesnt mean they have no time at all, it means they might rather do anything else than that.
