I never could understand the first gen VRods. Fantastic motor and trans on paper. Really good looking. Pretty good control positions. Finally sat on one, the seat and tank junction left no room for my man parts. Still can't figure out who they were marketing it to?

The Galley stores delivery truck (the ones with the back on a scissor jack) have big plastic plugs to put over the front of the nacelle when they’re servicing at any door in front of the wing. My friends who used to work for one of the companies said no one ever used them.

After watching Dougs video, I hope it was the FWD Promasters and not the Rivians I saw spinning their tires hopelessly. My daughter says those Promasters are horrible in every way.

Couldn’t be any worse than the ICE powered ones. When Seattle had 3 or so inches of snow I saw multiple instances of their ICE van spinning out and not being able to get out of flat parking lots onto flat streets. Its really funny when it happens a block from the fullfilment center.

My FIL was an aircraft tooling engineer, he had lots of little extensions and wrenches to take the cover on and off in the car to replace the water pump and re-seal the cover. And to replace the cover after they cracked every 6 months.

I think the great thing is that the Sentra has been the worldwide poster child for POS cars for its entire existence. Bad engineering, leaky engines, crappy transmissions, interior made of plastic sourced from something recycled from the Middle Ages. I won’t say bad electric system because they usually just give up…
