“Mathematically speaking” you didn’t survey those people about why they didn’t watch, and to assume they all didn’t tune in because of kneeling players is really stupid.
I was getting ready to write “well I’ve been to plenty of responsible parties with open bars” but then I realized that all the best ones were the ones where most people had 1-2 drinks and interesting conversation. So uh, yeah let’s do it!
The only way I could see it mattering is if they let just the right things slip during the discussion.
Here’s an idea: Let them fucking kneel, who gives a fuck?
If I had a large enough office and a busy enough schedule, being able to switch over to “lunch mode” without getting up would be spectacular.
What blows my mind is seeing the mountains that most of them cut through just to avoid the deserts you drove through.
I wanted to disagree with you when I read this, but yeah, you’re right. The way we let the right control the conversation is a big part of the problem.
They’re the same people who wouldn’t shut up about how hollow “hope and change” was.
This is not his fucking job. It is as simple as that.
Literally every state has a good Samaritan law. You’re always covered here.
“Cult” is a pretty loaded term, so yeah. If something is being called a cult in the first place, it is often because they made the news doing something like this.
Yeah it’s abused here too. In the SE you see a lot of people lane-splitting at 50+ through stopped traffic or going the wrong way up a bike lane to avoid a light. Stupid crap like that. It makes drivers more aggressive towards motorcycles in general.
lol ok kid.
The fact that you think this means you understand deals between netflix and content owners only demonstrates it further.
You’re in way over your head here.
I’m not sure why you think this is meaningful.
If they are, they’re getting something for it. Which they can’t if Nielson gives them a taste for less.
This isn’t true. Netflix has to negotiate with the content owners and pay them for packages of movies and shows. If netflix conceals their userbase’s usage patterns, they have a leg up in that negotiation.
Because they’re in contractual relationships with content creators. Those contracts can include data sharing as a carrot. They can ALSO simply hold back that data and use it to more effectively negotiate.
