You don’t think 200 years of not being allowed to own anything followed by 100 years of Jim Crow laws is going to cause any issues?

“fruits of a tainted search” being inadmissible has been a cornerstone of the few working parts of our justice system for a really long time. This is bananas.

Oh man. Now I understand the rest of your posts. You’re a complete fuckwit. I get it now.

Again, you actually have no way to know what affirmative action did in your school. You keep just restating that a bunch of black kids were bad in school but unless you saw the paperwork, unless you were ACTUALLY in the room where it was being decided, you’re speculating. And your speculation, unless you carefully

What was racist was where you assumed that badly behaving kids in your classes MUST have been let in because of affirmative action.

Ok, so either you’re trolling or you really don’t understand privilege.

Again, you literally have no way to determine which students were there because of affirmative action. Taking their behavior to mean that is confirmation bias.

I hate-watched it and was totally on board by the end.

You have absolutely no way of knowing how many of your minority classmates were admitted because affirmative action said so.

How many people agreeing with this were in that other thread saying that the guy who got run off the road for being a jerk got what was coming to him?

You say “if you know about cars” a lot, because these cars are mostly appliances, but here’s the thing: Some people who know a lot about cars still want an appliance anyway. I know a lot about airplanes, but if I bought one it would not be a fighter jet.

Your claim was “Because even there it would fall harder than it already has.”. Which is a really weird claim to make “from my own observations” unless you’ve lived in each of those cities or studied them personally.

BUT WHAT IF THEY LOCK ME OUT OF MY APARTMENT? WHAT IF THEY BURN IT DOWN? WHAT IF THEY SELL DRUGS OUT OF THIER ROOM? WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF?

Your argument is based on “people do x” and “people want y”.

Don’t speak for the expectations and lifestyle of everyone in the country. Your experience is not the standard experience. Everyone has a different life and a different schedule.

I’ve had renters insurance with unrelated roommates on many occasions. It’s really not anything.

It’s cool how you’re able to speak to the exact demands that everyone’s lives have to know for sure that no group of people could EVER have demands that fit in with each other. It’s really helpful that you’ve completely cataloged the lives of every American. Maybe you can help me plan out my commute in the mornings?

Literally not different from apartments, sooooo.

Yeah, just like sharing an apartment with someone. Worst idea ever.

How is that any different in any way than renting an apartment together?
