I think Film Crit Hulk's piece about how David Fincher's direction doesn't fully get across the movie's satire. I think it's definitely a good movie, and it's remarkable that big studio was willing to make it. That said, it is flawed and it does spend too much time making anarchy seem fun. I can't watch the clip right

To be fair, Raylan watched the man he shot in the Pilot do something really horrific. Can't really blame him for baiting the guy.

When I first noticed someone wearing these pants, I didn't think much of it. Maybe it's just his personal style. But when I noticed others wearing them, it blew my mind. It's such a little thing that they never draw attention to, but it adds so much to the believability of the future they paint here.

Everyone should read Film Crit Hulk's piece on the use of theme in The World's End. Reinforced the fact that it's my favorite

I think Jonathan Banks fits nicely in the hole left by Chevy Chase, but I
still got a little emotional when Pierce showed up as a hologram. They
used him well. Not sure what they're going to do about replacing Donald

The Purge 2 needs to be a heist film

Glad Gravity wasn't number one for once, and while I think it would be perfectly understandable if it was found somewhere else on the list, I'm okay that it's not. Technically the movie is incredible, but it didn't do much for me beyond that.

I think part of the reason why Die Hard and Man of Steel are on here is not that there weren't worse movies this year, but because of the significance of their poor quality. Die Hard was a once great series that has now been ruined by A Good Day and Man of Steel shows that the direction of a new series for one the

I've listened to it all the way through and so far I think it's the better album, but I need to listen to it more. I look forwarded to picking up on the personal stuff more as I listen to it again.

I've only listened to some of this and it's okay, but I'm actually someone who really liked "Camp." Some songs I couldn't stand, but the ones I really like were for the most part the more personal songs like Outside, All the Shine/Letter Home, Heartbeat, Hold You Down, and That Power. From what I've listened to this

I heard about that, but I thought it was an exaggeration.

Telegraph Avenue. Really enjoying it so far. I like the style more than Kavalier and Clay but I don't know if it will top it overall.
