It’s nice to see a discussion on colorism refocused on us black males as opposed to just transferring the issue onto black women. We, black men certainly, have to constantly remember that it is our issue too.

Here’s the thing, we gotta teach young girls(and boys) to despise his way of thinking. Probably a lot of his fans are the same young black dark-skinned girls he’s rejecting. They’ll be upset but still support his music. The bigger problem is a lot of young black women feel the same way he does.
